How to Upgrade ur private server to 2.3.3!!!

Very simple to upgrade for for Ascent servers (not sure about the others)!

1. Open your directory to C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\Ascent\logonsever.conf
2. Scroll down to the area <client minbuild = "XXXXX" maxbuild = "ZZZZZ">
3. Type 8300 in place of the "Z"s
4. press control + s ....or save the file
5. enjoy....your done!

do we have to have version 2.3.2 to type in 8300 like will it upgrade it to v 2.3.3 if we have like 2.3.0??

If you type in 8300 it makes your server enabled to play with the 2.3.3 patch. As for older patches too

Typing that into logonserver.conf doesn't work for me. It still comes up "unable to validate game version." Any ideas?

Change this (see pic below) and dont forget to SAVE!

That is what I changed, still came up unable to validate game version. I went back to make sure it saved and it still said 8300 (tried 9999 as well after it didn't work).

I allways by default set mine to 9999.

I got that problem before..it doesn't work with all repacks

normal is 7799 but ur choise 9999 work for me

its because the core itself is not 2.3.3 enabled and due to the amount of change
there is alot of em it has to be updated as well
