[Guide]Connect to database remotely{Pics}

[Pragma]

Required:
1. Navicat, SQLyog, or any other database editing software
2. MySQL

I will use SQLyog for this guide because I do not have Navicat

Step 1: Adding the user
1. Start your MySQL server
2. Open SQLyog
3. click the Manage users > add user like in the picture below:


4. For host put the IP of the computer that will be connecting to this database
5. Put whatever you want for user and pass then click select all privileges.
in the end it should look something like below:


Step 2: Connecting remotely
1. make a new connection with the info from above like so, except for host you put the host of the database:


2. Press connect and it should work
3. sit back, enjoy, and happy DB editing =)
