    Need some help!

Alright, so I've never done this before (I've only changed the model of items using Hexeditor :P) so basically I'm a giant noob when it comes down to modelediting. I play a night elf rogue, but I wish it was a human male. So I went to this thread: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...nversions.html
and downloaded the Night elf Male > Human male thingie. I also downloaded the 2.2.3 modeleditfix.exe.

Okay, so I put the modeleditfix in my world of warcraft folder, and extracted the night elf male > human male files (there were two of them, one called patch-4 and one called patch-5) into my Data folder (in the world of warcraft folder). Okay, now that I've done that I start the modeleditfix.exe and WoW starts. I try to log in, but I get this login error message:

"Unable to validate game version. This may be caused by a file corruption or the interferance of another program. Please visit the wow-europe support site (or something) for more information and possible solutions to this issue"

I'm clueless. What should I do? I made sure I have the newest version of modeleditfix too, so that can't be the problem. I would really appreciate if someone helped me.

    Thank you in advance,
    convicti:wave:

EDIT: I forgot, I'll give +rep to the person who helps me. (If I can, I'm such a noob >.<)

Make sure you have WoW patched to 2.2.3 (7359). There work, I just tested Night Elf Female to Human Male and it works fine.

Yep, I do have it patched to 2.2.3, and it still doesn't work. ;<

    Re: Need some help!

    Step 1: run Modeleditfix.exe
Step 2: before logging into your account hit 'end' on your keyboard.
Step 3: at character selection screen hit 'home' on your keyboard.
    Step 4: login.
