MPQ-file? Help!

Hey. I am new on this site and just started with model changes. I was fallowing this guide:

But it did not work out so well. I were doing a re-creation of taurens cat form. I started with starting MWCS, after that i open common.MPQ instead of patch.MPQ. Glynbeard choice to show how he made that guide with CREATURE\RidingElekk\RidingElekk.blp but i took Creature\DruidCatTauren\DruidCatTaurenSkinBrown.blp instead. I extracted it to my desk made it to a PNG-file re-created the tauren skin, made it to a BLP-file but know he wants me to make a MPQ-file of somthing (nr9 in he's guide) and thats what i need help with to understand. So can someone tell me what to do at the end of that guide? reward for this quest is +rep!

1st of all you cant +rep
Since it's that kind of blp your swapping I THINK that you have to
1. create a folder in your Data folder called "Creature"
2. in that you create "DruidCatTauren", in that folder your new blp.
3. Then you open up MWCS,
4. press "Create New Archive" name it to patch-x (x being 1-9 or a-z).
5. Press "Add new file to archive",
6. add your custom BLP from the Creature folder that you just created.
7. When the name pops up in your "Is this the file" window. Rename it "Creature\DruidCatTauren\DruidCatTaurenSkinBrown.blp"
8. Then save and close.
If that doesn't work name the folder "DruidCat" instead of DruidCatTauren, and remember this is very case-sensitive.

hehe, i made it but .. hmm i only changed the color .. i wanted to change color and make it look like NE catform .. dmit >_<

You used the Tauren catform to make it look like the nightelf? That way u have to extract the nightelf catform and change THAT color. Alot easier, and in that case the folder for patching has to be DruidCat gl

aah .. so i should take NE catform change that color rename the NE catform to Tauren catform name?

btw does it work the same if you want to change spells? like sheep looks like chains or somthing like that?
