Need help finding this tileset.

Please help me find this tileset. ive changed almost all of them in the elwynn tileset folder except for the rock ones.



if you have any idea of what the name of the file is please tell me. ill +rep and <3 u forever.

Right near the lake with the fishing trainer, i think its crystal lake or something. its right next to one of the trees.

Couple of options for ya:

TILESET\Elwynn\ElwynnGrassBase_s.blp

Those are the only ones including those "white lines" that are spread across the tileset, check them out and tell me if any of them was right

Just open the ADT in Notepad and search for the texture. I've told you before.

There are 2 methods 'I know of' to find out what the .ADT file of a certain area is.
One includes the use of Noggit
The other, WoW Map Editor

(This might also help WoW Mapper)

Using noggit you can simply 'spawn as a movable camera?' in Elwynn or anywhere in WoW, if you like (Click Azeroth then In Elwynn area of map that appears), fly to the area you desire. Select a chunk of terrain (left click), and it will list onscreen, the textures being used on it. Any given chunk can only contain 4 textures. So given this list of textures, you can now, using MWCS, find them and you'll see which one matches what you're after.
(Noggit requires a secondary pre-bc installation of WoW)

Using WoW Map Editor, you can select an option from the main menu "I want to edit a part of the world but dunno which file is my target".
You'd then have 2 options, as you'll see. The ingame memory location reading option I've never tried, but sounds the easiest option.
Otherwise you could use the second option and search by region, Elwynn in your case, and look through the list of .adt's and the .wmo's and area-titles included in it, till you find a couple that include the same area-title your sought texture is used in. Also using .wmo's listed as a guide, (e.g. goldshireinn.wmo & animalden.wmo) you know that'will be close to your location.

From there you could extract them and see what textures are being used throughout them.

Or finally, you could use WoW mapper. 'Initialiser' it to your WoW.exe directory. Then on the right treelist, select azeroth, and go through the the hundreds of ADT minimap pictures till you find your area, in this case I found Elwynn with Crystal Lake at 32_49.
So world\maps\azeroth\azeroth_32_49.adt is now your friend.



Annnyway. those are just the methods 'I' Know of. Anyone. feel free to post a 300x easier way to do it and make me look like a fool
