The Gimp

I've a prog called The Gimp I cant get photoshop for some reason anywayz...
I was trying to change color's of some items the head and shoulder worked perfectly but when I wanna start with the chest,arms etc. I get this error:

It means To discolour works only on Rgb-layers. anyone knows how I can fix that so I change the color? :O

Have you converted the file into any other format or are you directly opening as .blp?

If you converted, try opening it at another program, MS Paint and select it all and copy it.

Then go back to Gimp and insert it there and colorize like you want.

That's an alternative way to do it, but I am sure there's a way to fix your problem. (since it's something with the colors.)
