Change Spells

Now then before anyone says anything read this.
I have searched and looked after a guide to show how to change a spell until i was green, :confused: the closest i have come an answer of what I'm talking about was
"Very few know how to do it"

My question is how do i change the usual hit and crit animations?
What I'm talking about is the animation when you hit or crit something, the animation itself, not the characters animation..
Cause i have played this game very long now, and I'm blood hungry!
And i know blizzard made a spell called
"Bloodyexplosion.m2" witch is pretty kewl.
I got the m2 extracted, and what i want to change extracted too just how to swap them?

so in short what i want to do is change the
Particles/Bloodspurts animations
(Bloodspurt.m2
Bloodspurtlarge.m2
hitsprite.m2
hitsprite_critical.m2)

to the
Bloodyexplosion.m2

Done major changes to wow and have been a model editer and texture changer since wow first came out but after blizzard got that new smart patch system,
witch makes simple Ctrl+c & Ctrl+v replacing editing impossible
(witch is kinda long ago) i started working a lot with HEX witch is a great program for simple armor and weapon changing but now i want to go deeper again.

I have even done this before, but its kinda long ago patch 1.1 or something.

Have tried many things but cant get this to work..

I'm not the guy who spams the most so this is my first post even doh i have been here for a while and been using this site for a very long time,
so far I'm very happy with it but If its possible to just get a link to a tread where this is explained or a finished MPQ file with this fixed, i would be most grateful :eek3:
