[ Q ] Model Edit Fix not working for 2.2.3

Of course, i run it properly, and press END once the game is loaded...

However, when i try to log in, i'm greeted with "World of Warcraft was unable to validate your game version, blah blah blah..."

Is there a working update for MEF?

Bump for help, im getting the same thing..if i try to run the fix after i log in, i instantly get a wow error.

Make sure you press END once the program navigates you to your log in screen.
Make sure you press Home ( or Pos1, depending which language you speak xD ) after pressing enter when you entered your accdatas. You understood me ? ^^

Teufel did say it correct but incase you didn't understand him:

1. run modeleditlive.exe
2. type in account info
3. press END
4. press ENTER and as it's loading saying 'connecting etc' press HOME

Your edits will now work if you have done this correct (may take a few tries to get the HOME in the right place), and all my edits work.

i cant get this to work, have tried clicking HOME the ''right'' time like 50 times, and it always says

''unnable to validate :icon_blahblah:''

I'm having the same problem as the guys above me. I press end then log in and as its connecting i press home, it never loads or anything, I have tried 3 different model edits for human male too so i don't think its the MPQ

any help would be appreciated

I've had the same problem, the only way I could get it to work is:
Open modeleditlive, hit end. When wow first pops up, Close WoW.

Open Wow again, leaving modeleditlive open..Log in, hit Home at character selection, then you should be working

you all guys who get errors dont do it right . i guess if u cant run it then u shouldnt use model fix =D it totally works fine

run model fix , hit END run WOW type acc name and pass and as soon as u hit enter - press Home

It works fine, it's been said 100x's, make sure you doing everything thats being stated in the above posts. Make sure you have the most up to date model edit fix. And make sure that WoW is patched to 2.2.3

And that "unable to validate game version" has only happened to me twice, once on live and once on a private server. Live I just repaired WoW and everything went fine (ME's and all), and the private server was that they didn't have their server set to accept that patches build number.

There is another SOLUTION. I had the same problems as you had.
Before you use the new mpqs and the modeleditfix...
Log in on another realm (where you dont have the race which you changed).
Put in the mpq and the modeleditfix.
Start the modeleditfix.exe -> disable the fix before log in,log in...
Enable the fix -> Go to you re real server.

or have you 'only just' got and trying to use it with 2.2.3 for first time?
