    Serverside Checks for Mountain Climbing

I posted this in another thread, but in order to get more people to read this, I'm making a thread specifically for it.

This is how Blizzard Serverside checks for MC.

They apply a Z-Axis boundry to certain areas of the game, which no chracter should legitimately pass. When this boundry is crossed, it flags the account for investigation, which then usually leads to the ban.

Even if you bypass Warden checks somehow, you can NOT stop serverside checks from happening.

If you don't want to get caught with MC, don't climb anything you couldn't fall from normally.

hmm, im pretty sure that warden checks the offset for being changed. atleast, from all the people crying saying they get banned "30seconds" after chaning the numbers at the offset it sounds like that. im sure they have that too if-somehow-we find a way around warden.

I know of a program that bypasses warden and allows offset changing. One of the guys there tested MC with Warden disabled, he didn't get banned until he crossed a boundry.

Re: Serverside Checks for Mountain Climbing

I dont know about you guys but i mc everyday and have never had any trouble what so ever =)

I strongly doubt there is a z-axis in the game and it seems that warden can not check the offsets of WoW simply because most of them are constantly changing!! This would Imply that Warden would have to check constantly through over 900,000 addresses and would have to know EXACTLY which addresses change to what, Which when i search for hacks using t-search I came around hundreds of thousands of addresses that constantly change into hundreds of different numbers! If you do the math this means MILLIONS of adresses Warden must check constantly which would not only take a very very long time but would be unnecesary to do because you would have to program warden to know EVERY SINGLE address and what it changes too.

So in Summary, It would be impossible for warden to check every single address at a constant rate of time, which would also imply that warden must know every possible address offset for every possible address! This would mean if lets say about 2/3 of the total adresses in the game would change constantly.... And each one has about 100 possibilites....That would mean about 700,000 x 100 which would equal 70,000,000 ADDRESSES GETTING CHECKED AROUND THE CLOCK! Which to me, is highly doubtful! Anyone agree?

Pff boundaries... Z-axis, Y-axis... what the hell is this? I've been using mountainclimber DAILY, DAILY for past 3 weeks and have never gotten banned. But i'm afraid they make some changes if i tell how to make it undetectable

Re: Serverside Checks for Mountain Climbing

Well i dont hack that much, but i think what the warden actually checks for is not ur boundary, but your rate of change. When wall hacking, u fly up walls, so ur rate of change (all u in calculus, slope) changes that rapidly, i think thats what pings up blizzard, not ur location
