hi i was wondering when someone gets banned by blizzard, do they just ban the key or the account? what happens to the bnet balance if there's still money in it. thanks

They ban the key so you need to buy the game again..

No, the key is your game account.
With the new key you'll get a new account... (?)

They will ban the account associated with the game key, the money stays on the battle.net account - two different account - one is main the other is game.

so for example if my first key gets banned and i use my bnet balance to buy a new key
will they be keeping a closer eye on my account since they know i bot on my first key?
