DIablo 3 Graphics Mod - HDR Bloom Lighting

I modified ENBSeries so that it works well with Diablo 3. Essentially this tweak works with the default in game render engine to enable effects that are supported by DirectX but may not have been implemented- mainly SSAO and Bloom/HDR lighting effects.

I am still tweaking the settings but have it at a point where it darkens the shadows slightly and boosts the lighting effect. Although it isn't anything groundbreaking I feel it makes a significant impact on how the game looks so I decided to share.

Install is easy- simply extract the contents of the file to the Diablo 3 directory and start the game. When the game is loaded press "Shift-F12" to toggle on and off the effect. Note that this only will work with DX9 and a 32-bit client of D3.

Question, is this something active that is bannable? Not familiar with the Diablo Sphere

No this just applies post-processing to the graphics. It doesn't hook into the game at all.

Lighter pics are the original full high graphics on a 7970. The darker ones are with the filter enabled. It gives more a dark gloomy feel, but there is a very distinct blurring of everything. I think it has possibilities, but still needs some tweaking...BTW I don't know if this matters, but this worked fine on a default install on a Windows 7 x64 so I think it should work on any install.

I'm at work right now but actually have a tweaked version of the settings that look better. I'll upload tonight and throw up some before & after pictures.

Yeah I think in some areas the edges are far too dark. I do like the atmosphere it gives though but for my liking it is too dark. I prefer being able to see the entire game clearly.

Still dont have access to my settings but the other thing you can do is simply go into your video settings and ramp up the gamma slightly- that'll make it apply the effects but make the brightness level even out.
