Savage Leather - Another Spot (Vashj'ir)

With the influx of Skinning spots and the nerf to the Stone Bats in Deepholm, I decided to post my favourite spot.

In Vashj'ir, Kelp'Thar Forest, you have the seas serpent Akasha.
Due to this being a quest related mob, the respawn rate is very high.



So I can hear you think, J, what's so special about that?

Well, dear readers, this makes it very good:

Skinning Akasha nets:

2 - 4 Savage Leather Scraps: 50 %
1 - 3 Savage Leather: 30 %
1 Deepsea Scale: 20 %
1 Strange Bloated Stomach: 03 %

When doing this, beware that you'll also get adds to skin (more leathers yay). Sometimes the respawn is so out of whack that I have 3 Akasha corpses waiting to be skinned while killing a new spawn ;-) .

Akasha is located around 58.38 in Kelp'thar Forest.

Been posted quite a few times, only good if you are on a high pop server with alot of people leveling in Vash'jir. Sadly no one on my server goes there so it's pretty much useless for me.

Ermm, high pop or low pop has nothing to do with it.
You have to kill the mob yourself.

Btw, I searched for Akasha and found 1 reference to the name and it was in a post not related to this thread.
