Server/faction change bring 40k gold with you!

So i searched i didn't find anything post a comment with a link below and i will remove the topic.


I just faction changed my druid and i had 40k gold i wanted with me, but there is a cap on 20k gold as a max you can have in your bag.
What i did was buying the Reins of the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth for 19000g, and then i faction changed with 20k gold + the mammoth in my bag. The vendor doesn't ask you to verify the purchase and you can't sell it back since there is no timer on the mount. After my faction change was completed i made a ticket right away



I had my ticket for 5 days but it got answered he said he would do a "once off assistance" with it, since i did not learn the mount and because i made a ticket almost right after i bought it


Worked well with faction changing so it should work with server migration as well. I did this as a test, because i think it's lame only to transfer 20k at a time. I'm a spender and have a lot of gold so i won't leave most of my gold on another realm or the opposite faction if i never play there .

- note i didn't write exactly what you can see in the ticket :P. I had it for 5 days so it was something like that and it worked lol.

Ah well then you can have an extra 19000g with you . I didn't know that, and as said i waited 5 days to get my assistance :P.

I just prefer transferring the extra gold trought neutral AH, easy and not risky.
How to do it? Make lvl1 alt to other side, go to neutral AH, but 1 linen cloth there for 100 000g buyout, and buy it on other side and *boom* the gold is on the other side. Too bad neutral AH takes 15% of the money but I prefer still doing it because theres no risk.

Have you even read the thread? This primarily focuses on server migration, probably because gold transfer when doing a faction change would be OBVIOUS.
