Was looking at mmo-champion this morning and I read "The Alchemy mount Vial of the Sands is no longer Bind-on-Pickup."

If you have the gold to make one. This could be a massive profit. Early Wotlk days I sold an Chopper for twices the mats cost.

11 hour cd for true gold?

When i made mine last night it said 22 hours.

Btw the way even having the gold,hardest part about this is actually finding the recipe, im 525 archeology and have yet to find it.

It can be obtained from tol vir jars.

Plus i dare say ive made a thousand or 2 of pots.

Yeah, you also need 450+ Archeology, and then get it as a rare drop from the common jar artifact...

As for your figures, I'd say many of them are off, and not just based on one server, I play on three different servers, and waaaay off. This won't end up being a huge moneymaker, the cost of the mats themselves are prohibitively expensive. Not to mention finding the pattern.

Pfff why do you get so hyped up...Ok maths are gatherable, but the the chance to learn the spell is so low...you may need to blow 3 if not 4 times the gold that the drake cost to have a chance to find the vial of sand spell.



BTW Finally how to find the pattern? WoWhead says its a discovery yet most people say archeology?

I was writing from the point that finding the pattern will be a discovery from Alchemy

nah your wrong, my cd finished at 10 pm server yesterday, i put it on ah before i logged, cd had a few mins left when i was doing bgs earlier today.

As some one farming for this pattern, trust me when I say this.

That pattern is currently one of the most time consuming things ever in this game to obtain. You don't just pick up archaeology and go get that pattern(its takes longer to get 450 arch than it did to level 80-85). Its a rare drop, from one of the tol'vir(hardest nodes to farm) research projects.

If you even get it, you will make tons of gold just because you will probably be the only one on the server that can even do it(for a while). Telling people to just go out and get it and then they can make gold is a terrible guide....
