[CATA] Massive Gold with prospecting, math inside

alright, so what we are going to do is to prospect Elementium Ore. I think there is a post for Obsidium for pre Cata... I decided to make one for Elementium and after cata release so...
anyway, delete if you think you need to ;D

Alright, so this is what we need
Juwelcraftig skill 475, ask a friend if you sont want to skill it up
some gold for the Ore

You can also cut them and sell for even higher, but I'll do the math without cutting them (cutting blue gems gives at least 3x the gold)

alright, here are the Prices on my sever:

Elementium Ore ~ 300g / stack

Jasper ~ 50g
Alicite ~ 50g
Carnelian ~ 80g
Hessonite ~ 110g
Nightstone ~ 110g
Zephyrite ~ 50g
Amberjewel ~ 80 - 100g
Demonseye ~ 80 - 100g
Dream Emerald ~ 80 - 100g
Ember Topaz ~ 80 - 100g
Inferno Ruby ~ 300 - 400g
Ocean Sapphire ~ 80 - 100g

I did it with 20 Stacks. This is what I got

3x Dream Emerald
5x Ocean Sapphire
2x Demonseye
3x Inferno Ruby
2x Ember Topaz
4x Amberjewel

20x Carnelian
18x Alicite
15x Hessonite
3x Zephyrite
18x Nightstone
14x Jasper

Soo lets do the math.

20 x 300g for the ore = 6k invested

16 x 80g for rar gems that are not red = 1280g
3 x Inferno Ruby = 900g
33 x Nightstone and Hessonite = 3630g
35 x Zephyrite, Jasper and Alicite = 1750g
20 x Carnelian = 1600g

that is 9160g in worst case of prices on my server, that eqals

3160g PROFIT

Of course if you cut the rar gems you get around 200-300g EACH for them so think about that ;d but i dont know how good cut gems sell.
In addition I want to add how fast i sold those gems. I posted the green ones as stacks and the rars single. I already had the 6k back after an hour or so. everything after that was profit. I almost watched them being selled ;D
So it looks like you could easily sell gems from 100 stacks...
Of course prices will crash soon for the green gems, but the price for the ore will, too, thats for sure. As soon as people have theire PvP sets and so on...
Propably still good profit then.

Prices vary hugely per server, may be profitable, may be not, mostly is luck.

Dream Emeralds are only 40g on mine.

Indeed it's server dependent, but it's a nice guide and I'll try it for sure and let you guys know how it worked.

i am sure the price for the ore will go sown massively in 1-2 weeks, im sure it will be pretty profitable, as in every expansion ;D
and if you can cut the gems you get insane profit, pretty much on any server I think ...

Done this for a few days now, exept I diss the Green rings and necks I can make and sell the enchanting mats, make about 5000 - 7000 gold daily, also I manage to pull of 100 gold a stack for the ore of some idiots

aww man ffs. Im finding that elementium ore goes for 9g each and gems are going for 80g+... atleast until people like you start posting it =)!

Wait what? Are you talking about the nightstone/hessonite necks/rings?
Wouldn't it be more profit to just sell the gems?
