    Deadmines Heroic, Foe Reaper 5000 - The Easy Way! (Hunter Pet)

    Hi, being back after a long time, posting something very useful I think

    Well, after having used the search button without any results, I'm going to post this right here!

    Today, when i went Deadmines Heroic, my group died at Foe Reaper 5k, but I (Hunter) was still alive.

    Then I discovered something VERY useful for this boss.

    A hunter pet will barely get any damage by the boss himself, I could easily heal it on my own!
    So we decided to try the boss and letting my pet (specced BM, but also worked with my Survival spec and Kitty) tank him all the way.

    To our surprise, it was absolutely no problem! The healer concentrated on healing the group and one of our melees was dealing with the elementals spawning, the others, including me were dealing damage to the boss.
    It is a bit annoying to get the pet repositioned all the time, the Foe Ripper casts this whirlwind style attack, but in the end it was a successful kill, tanked by my pet!

    I am not sure if this is not working as intended, since my pet gets hit by the boss for about 2,5k every now and then... I assume it's got something to do with the pets AOE mitigation, maybe the attacks of Foe Ripper 5000 are handled as some AOE kind spells, so the pets ignore a lot of it.

    So:

    Go to DM Heroics, get a Hunter
    Let the PET Tank Foe Ripper 5000 (requires a little skill)
    ->>> Easy Kill, go on

    Picture, pet tanking the boss

    Well, you could say this is faked, or the mob was just tanked the last few seconds by my pet, but i promise you this works!

    I think this is more of an exploit. But thanks for the find, that's because hunter pets get the talent that reduces 90% of the dmg taken from AoE's which are reaver's main burst (Overdrive)

    Edit:
    (My bad, didn't read the title)

    This is a guide really, not an exploit. Pets are good tanks now, especially with anything to do with aoe. functioning as intended. Also, the fight is very easy already, fight him up the ramp, whenever he chooses someone.. hop off the ramp. the person in the reaper, press '1,1' against foe reaper to get initial energy, then '3,1,1,1' (repeat this on every mob, and you will never take damage in the suit).
