easy embersilk farming spot - 10k health mobs

In a nutshell, farming spot especially good for cloth in Deepholm. Mobs with 10k hp and normal loot. they run in packs. yay. =)

Many of you might know this.
Unfortunately since some douche posted it on wowhead (saw his post as I was getting these images lol), but in Western Deepholme on ground level there is a small plain with wandering friendly giants being swarmed by rockflayer-type mobs with minimal hit points. These creatures have about 10k HP according to wowhead, and even if the giants hit them as long as you have the tag they are yours to loot. They seem to drop obscene amounts of cloth and also have normal chance to drop blues and greens. The only people I saw there on my server were questing and may not have noticed the farming potential. Anyhow I hope this helps someone.



Also the stone drakes to the north can drop over 1g each.

just tested it and i have to say, that im sorry .. they drop embersilk cloth, yes, but i killed like 20 and got 3 cloth ..; so i dont know if thats that useful ;
; or maybe they lowered the chance, idk

The drop chance is still 16% as it says on the picture, which is low.
So dont get to excited about getting much money :-)

I farmed 1800g in around 40 mins doing this, thanks for the heads up.

I was not using the treasure finding potion btw just converted all the cloth into bolts.

10 Swarms, 1 green 7 silks. Not worth imo

The mobs with 10k come in packs - they're not the normal stationary mobs there. Having said that - drop rate is too low and packs too hard to find to make real gold off it.
