Level Skinning 150-220 and Farm Medium/Leather Fast!

This requires that your skinning be atleast 145..
While leveling skinning today I found a very nice area to level it in. The mobs of interest are Terrortooth Scytheclaws just south of Hunter's Hill in Southern Barrens around 41, 24.


There are 5 nests that spawn them and they have an extremely fast (not quite instant) respawn time.


There's also some Hyenas and Terrortooth Runners nearby that are skinnable. You should be able to level to 220 with these mobs, although personally I'm only at 190. I got from 150-190 in less than10 minutes, but that's counting getting killed by Deathwing.

Here's another incentive: Medium and Heavy Hides are selling for 20g a stack on my server, with that price likely to go up come Cataclysm. Not a bad way to farm for a lowbie.
