A Little Head-Up for Cataclysm

Dear MMOwned,

just wanted to share a piece of information with you.

Like [Infinite Dust], [Saronite Bar], [Frostweave Cloth], [Borean Leather] etc. there will of course be a new high end trade good for each crafting profession ([Tailoring], [Leatherworking] etc.).


What I wanted to share with you is: [Elementium Bar] (not to be confused with [Hardened Elementium Bar]) which will be the new replacement for [Saronite Bar]. This might be a retarded piece of information, but I believe this needed to be share. What makes this so special, is it is labeled Uncommon vs. Saronite's Common.
So I believe many will mix these up, and people will replace them with the current [Titanium Bar] or maybe even [Titansteel Bar] (because of the same icon) and therefor the first days or weeks, this will be sold at insanely prices until people realize they are just as common as [Saronite Bar].


So my advice would be for the miner:

Farm as many as you can day one and go insane at the AH the following days! This is a huge opportunity to make a lot of really easy gold. People are eager to level their [Blacksmithing] and [Jewelcrafting], and just have to agree with the prices without knowing they are paying way too much.


My advice for the consumer/crafter:

I would not near the AH for at least a week or two. Instead, use your time on another profession or go level up to 85. My guess (as stated) would be that the prices are insanely high the first days and will drop fairly quick.



This is just my prediction, my guess and my advice for the upcoming patch, but I really hope this helped someone.

[Cobalt Bar] will be [Obsidium Bar].
[Saronite Bar] will be [Elementium Bar].
[Titanium Bar] will be [Pyrite Bar].
There is not a new [Titansteel Bar] yet.

[Frostweave Cloth] will be [Embersilk Cloth].

[Borean Leather] will be [Savage Leather].
[Heavy Borean Leather] will be [Heavy Borean Leather] (which will require [Savage Leather]x6).
