Modit! Morph your character; change your scale...

    Modit!
A simple (client-side) tool to customize your game play.

    Compatibility:
    • Operating System: Windows NT (XP, Vista, 7...)
    • World of Warcraft version: 4.0.1.13205 (latest patch as of writing this post)
    • Requires: At least .NET Framework 2.0
    • Direct-X 9: Make sure you run this program under dx9. Do not enable the experimental dx11. The game, by default, is set to run in dx9 mode. You shouldn't have to worry about changing this unless you've altered it before manually.

      and everyone from:
    • Wowhead.com
    • FatCow.com
    • GameDeception.net
    • MMOwned.com

    Instructions:
    1. Unzip the archive.
    2. Run "Modit! by ddebug.exe".

      You'll see something like this:

    3. Select an instance of World of Warcraft and hit the "Inject" button. If World of Warcraft is not already running, start a copy of it. This program can be loaded at any time you want. It can be loaded when you are in-game (logged on to your character) or on the Battle.net Log-in screen.
    4. If all goes well, you should see something like this:

    5. Enter your desired display id and/or scale and click "Morph" and/or "Resize". If you don't know the display id of the NPC you wish to morph into, just type the full name of the creature in the "Unit Name" section under the "Query Database" subgroup. We'll find the model id for you. We recommend that you leave the "Preview" box checked. This'll pop up an image of the model you are going to morph into before anything is applied. You can use this to quickly see if the retrieved display id is what you want your character to look like.

I turned into The Lich King:

Feel free to play around with the application however you like.

    Modit! Model Viewer

    Change log:
    • Initial: Version 1.0.0.0 released (Oct. 29, 2010)
    • Update 1: Version 1.0.0.1 released (Oct. 30, 2010)
      • Many crash and stability fixes.
      • Added 'Stay on top.'
      • Allowing the use of copy/paste in the model id field.
    • Update 2: Version 1.0.1.2 released (Nov. 2, 2010)
      • Added the ability to morph mounts (thanks jjaa)
      • Added new option 'Persist my model'
      • Enhanced internal code (quicker; more efficient; less buggy)

If you find any bugs/problems, please let me know about it on this thread.
A reference list of (interesting?) display ids is provided in the ZIP.

DISCLAIMER: This is *CURRENTLY* (as of October 29, 2010) undetected from Warden. Warden does not, nor has ever, scanned the player structure in memory. It is VERY UNLIKELY that Warden will start. Furthermore, this is entirely CLIENT SIDE and has no "game-breaking use" (it just makes your character LOOK interesting for YOU). Needless to say, you should STILL USE THIS PROGRAM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

If people like this program (and are actually using it), I will update it from version to version and add new features.

    Cheers!

Resize your model after you've morphed .

I fixed this now. The morph will still disappear, but you won't crash the game after you've changed zones. You can now reapply your morph without any problems.

Done! You should be able to copy and paste now in the morph ID box.

Unfortunately this is the case since shifting into a druid form also updates your model. You can always morph after you've shape-shifted?

    Added!

This really doesn't give me much to work with. Most people seem to be using this program fine. Can you please send me a PM describing what you did and what exactly happened? Please be sure to include:
    • Your operating system (Is it Windows XP? Vista? 7? What SP?)
    • Are you running the program as an Administrator? Do you have UAC enabled or disabled?
    • What .NET framework version do you have? 2.0? 3.0? 3.5? 4.0?
    • How old is your computer? Is it new? Is it "quick"?
    • What type of anti-virus software do you have?
