    Water Walking without a Buff

Bugs galore in this last patch and I think I found a decent one.

I was on my mage in Zangar earlier, and I actually landed on the water. I tested this at all the lakes and it worked at all of them.

Well, what use is just landing on water? you may ask.
I right clicked the mount buff off, and I was standing on the water. I could sit, cast spells, eat/drink, and even fish without sinking into the water.

Now, if I jumped or moved, I would start to swim, but I could just remount from the surface, land again, and viola, standing on water again.

Now, New and Improved!! Even if you take damage, you still remain standing on the water.

As you can see from my minimap, I am standing over the Coilfang drain pipe, which is deep water.

So it works only on lakes? Any other limitations? Too bad I would probably get reported in WG. But if this would work on the sea, the fishing derby could be interesting.

Looks like it works on rivers too, but since the rivers in Zangar only go up to my gnomes ankles, I couldn't get a good screenshot. I looks like it works on all bodies of water.

Yes, it does work with the Great Sea (or at least the part off the coast of Dragonblight)

I did this on the PTR, even reported the bug two times. They don't care I guess. =P

awesome, I did notice that mounts can land on water (the gyro copter looks really cool skidding along and actually leaves a realistic trail) but I didn't think to dismount and see if I could stand, will certainly give this a try.
