Summary:
1 / Talents / Masteries
2 / Glyphs
3 / Gear selection
4 / Rotation
5 / Pets
6 / Supplies
7 / Useful addons
8 / Macros
9 / Talents in detail
_____________________________________________________
I - 1 / Talents
Since 4.0.1, a template stands out:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
In fact, there's not a bunch of solutions, especially at lvl 80. The 3% haste is taken as a priority once the template MM completed.
I - 2 / Masteries
• Artisan Quiver - Ranged auto-attack damage increased by 15%
• Wild Quiver - Grants a 14.4% chance for your ranged attacks to also instantly fire an additional ranged shot for 100% normal damage. Each point of Mastery increases the chance by an additional 1.8%.
Mastery in MM (as with other Specs) is an extremely important stat. Indeed, the wild quiver stuff with a reforged geat for this mastery, in between the top 3 sources of damage, according to the rate of the player's mastery of course.

II / Glyphs
Prime:
The 3 glyphs that follow are those that provide the best performance in terms of dps.
• Glyph of Arcane Shot: a 12% damage increase to your main focus dump is probably a must have for all 3 specs.
• Glyph of Kill Shot: This glyph sounds really fancy, but what it basically comes down to is the ability to use 2 Kill Shots in a row every 11 seconds. Resulting in 1 KS per 5.5 seconds average. Only more bursty
• Glyph of Steady Shot: Before cataclysm launches (so in 4.0) all specs use steady shot, therefore this glyph is probably a must have.
Major:
• Glyph of Disengage: Pretty much a required glyph for PvE. Because of the separation of dps and utility glyphs you can now always pick this up. Increases the
mobility a lot.
Minor:
Unchanged from WotLK these provide minor and aesthetic bonuses. All of them are the same as in WotLK.
However, these glyphs are gadgets, and the player himself has to choose to take what is most useful

III / Gear
Heading numerals:
Hit: 246, payattention to the overcap !
Crit: 104.8%, or approximately 90.8% on the character sheet. Given our current stats in raid, we will take only 1 / 2 on Careful Aim to not overcap crit.
Stats
1) Hit rating: at the moment everything still points at hit rating remaining the superior stat before hit cap.So this is the most important statistic as it is not capped (8% / / 246 touch.) Any missing items is a net loss of DPS.
2) Agility: With agility now providing 2 AP and some crit, agility is the main stat after you capped hit. Blizzard has also stated that they want the primary stats (Strength / Agility / Intellect / etc) to be the most powerful stats.
3) Mastery: We are not certain yet which combat ratings (other than hit) are the most powerful. Mastery seems to take the lead though, and a lot of testing confirms this. However it is spec dependent. For example it currently seems the BM and SV mastery are respectively stronger than the MM mastery
4) Crit: Increases the critical strike chance. careful not to exceed the cap described!
5) Haste: ncreases the focus regeneration, and allows faster shooting cast insured, and therefore more ArS caller if the forward rate is sufficient. Be careful though to never delay or CS AiS.
Gemming:
Red socket:
20 Agility --- Delicate Cardinal Ruby --- Red Color
Yellow socket:
10 Agility + 10 Haste Rating --- Deft Ametrine --- Orange Color
10 Agility + 10 Crit Rating --- Deadly Ametrine --- Orange Color
Blue Socket:
20 Hit Rating --- Rigid Majestic Zircon --- Blue Color
10 Agility + 10 Hit Rating --- Glinting Dreadstone --- Purple Color
Note: Since we no longer benefit from Intellect and Blue sockets are good ways to correct our hitrating, Nightmare Tears are no longer optimal.

IV / Rotation
3 Different priorities according to the progress of the fight:
> 100% -80% Boss
AiS> CS> 2 * SS (for the proc)> ARS (Focus dump)> SS (up foca)
> 80% -20% Boss
CS> AIS> 2 * SS (proc)> ARS (Focus dump)> SS (Up FOCA)
> 20% -0% Boss
KS> CS> AIS> 2 * SS (Proc)> ARS (Focus dump)> SS (Up FOCA)
Note:
- Do not forget hunters mark
- Keep the +15% haste constantly active is very important.
- Set the bar in Foca in a visible place, it's very useful.
______________________________________________________________
V / Pets
- 100% hit (Rounded to below %. If you have 7,999% hit, your pet will be in 7 ! )
- 100% crit
- 100% haste (Except rapid fire )
- 42.5% of our AP
- 0% of our strength
Note that pets' dps has been standardized, we therefore choose the pet according to the buff to make a raid.
Here is a table summarizing by Malazee: WoW Petopia Community • View topic - Pet Usage Flowchart and Ability Spreadsheet

VI / Supplies
I think anyone learn anything there, but you never know!
Flask of Endless Rage: +180 ap
+ Fin damsel (I think): +40 acted / 40 endurance
Conso + 30 pet strength / endurance 30
