STV + Auction House = Sick Cash + exp = Succesful low level.

Ok. This is not gonna a deep in depth guide. I have made a semi-fortune off of this. I have been doing this for 2 days. Made some good cash for a low level.

Requirements:
On a large pop server on the active factions side. IE. malganis horde. US.
100g start off.
A around 40 toon.
Alot of grinding time.
Addons:
Lootfilter.
What do i do? Farm the Green Hills Pages of Strang. for the quest. If you have no clue what that is Wowhead is your friend and you never quested in STV.

There are 15 pages.

On AH they go for 7-10g. On my server atleast.

Where to farm? The Bloodsail Pirates. U get a average 1/4 pirate drop one from my experience.

SO what do i do?
Grind Pirates with lootfilter to delete all whites/greys except for the green hills pages. When you bags are FULL of them. Go to the AH in your factions city. I personally put them up for 5 bid. 8 buyout. Thats 8 g per 4 pirates. (since no one bids lol) Use your 100g that i recommended you having to clear out all the lower priced competition.
In 2 grinding sessions (2.5 hours each) i made 1k g as a affliction lock and gained 6 levels.
NOTE: I kill stuff in mass amounts (5 at a time as affliction.) Dot and exhaustion
THAT'S why it seems like a exaggeration.
Why the hell would anyone spend cash like that on a stupid quest item?
1. Its hard to find that last one you are looking for.
2. Lore Master achieve.
3. Laziness + Rich Main = Easy to take advantage of.
If you are leveling and you are around level 40. Why not give it a shot? If you are on a fast progressing active server like me. There is a high chance you will make money.
1kg may be petty pocket money for high levels. BUT. If you are on a brand new server. NO BOAs. No cash. 1k is all your expenses to 70. If you use the money right.

I was missing page 8 of those, and I was willing to pay up to 50g just for that one, to move on with my Loremaster.

I wouldn't sell the greens. I think around this level you start to get nether essences which sometimes cost more than Greater Cosmic essences. Plus the cloth you get from slaying humanoids is a nice bonus imo.
