preperation for 4.0.3 - Razzashi Hatchling farming

So in this guide i will be talking about this pet: Razzashi Hatchling.

Patch 4.0.3 will be the next big patch in WoW before Cata.
and in patch 4.0.3 Zul'Gurub will be removed as an raid instances and become some kind of leveling zone (correct me if im wrong on this)
So what this mean is, you will no longer be able to get the pet: Razzashi Hatchling.
It has a very rare drop chance, and can, when 4.0.3 hits be worth alot since it will no longer be obtainable.
(but its going to be worth farming)

Razzashi Hatchling
Drops from Razzashi Raptor's wich are 59-60 elite.
Thottbot says it has 0,7% drop chance. - Razzashi Hatchling - Thottbot: World of Warcraft
and WoWHead says it has 0,3%. - Razzashi Hatchling - Item - World of Warcraft


- How to farm it.
You will need to be in a raid group to enter Zul'Gurub.
So go find a friend or just a random player, guildie or whater and ask the person to join your group and then he/she can go offline or do whatever he/she wants to.
Now you are ready to start.

Now when you have entered Zul'Gurub, take a look at this picture, its the route u have to follow to get to the Raptor packs.

When you get to the end of the route you will see some Raptor packs looking like this:

When you have killed them, run out, reset and repeat.

In Catalysm, Zul'gurub is confirmed to be removed.

[Razzashi Hatchling] Currently drops from Razzashi Raptors inside Zul'Gurub.

When ZG is removed, this pet will no longer be obtainable unless Blizzard makes them obtainable in another way.

Therefore, you should stock up some of them now, you will most likely not loose anything on it, as if they do drop something else in Cata, the price will most likely be the same.

So, no risk

Open raid with someone, kill raptors, go out, reopen raid profit. they respawned

Even though it's a repost, it's a nicely written guide. Warcraftpets.com also states 1/1000 drop rate, not 3/1000 or 7/1000 as the OP states. This is probably due to thottbot and wowhead's mixed old and new data (the drop rate used to be 1/100 in vanilla afaik).
