Patch + Netherwing Ledge, Permanent Dragonmaw Orc Disguise / mount

So, fun story: The night before the patch I logged out on the Netherwing ledge area, where you are disguised as a Dragonmaw Orc (if you're doing the Netherwing quests, that is). My character is a female Orc huntress, but when I left the area, it kept the male Dragonmaw Orc disguise, even into Orgrimmar and Dalaran and such! People kept asking me how I was doing it.

The game is also currently refusing to let me dismount from my flying mount, also still with a Netherwing disguise stuck on it. Anywhere. Even in cities. It dismounts me briefly when I loot, shoot, or skin something, but then is instantly remounts me with no cast time. It's rather lulzy.

Maybe there is way to replicate still?

This still works, was able to recreate it. Flew out to Netherwing ledge, got the buff and hearthed. Buff disappears but still look like a fel orc. Confirmed this is server not just client side, as i received many whispers from puzzled players. Didnt stay mounted on the netherdrake however.

The buffs in the SS are a giant growth potion, and AI from a random mage.

I've looked like an orc for a good 3 hours, logging on and off. Goes away after death though.

yup, haven't been able to get it again since yesterday afternoon though, at least on stormrage.

I didn't get the orc part to work, but I did get the netherwing ride (buff) to remain. Just landed, opened a portal to Shattrath, remounted and went thru port. Kept the netherwing. Gunna try to fool around a bit more to figure this out.

EDIT: Just found out that if you mount up on your Traveler's mammoth, you keep your NPC riders along with you on the netherwing mount lollolol.

Used to be able to do this with the old method, using the Lord Illidan Stormrage quest, but that appears to have been fixed with patch 4.0.3a as well. I have been trying a bunch of different methods of leaving the island with the illusion but none working. Maybe someone else has had some luck.

I experienced the same thing. Had logged out with the illusion before patch, logged in after patch and was back in normal form.

Went back and tried several ways to leave the island after doing the mount trick; hearthstone, dalaran ring, worm hole, being summoned. All resulted in me losing the illusion on the other side.

Looks like this one might be fixed :\
