    [Alliance] Tame oil stained wolf (Borean Tundra)

    Hey, here's something I saw on another site wich lookes pretty cool,
    It allows u to tame the oil stained wolfs w/o them losing the oil, so u basicly get a black wolf as pet.
    Here's the link.
    NOTE
    It's not my video nor my find but I think it was pretty awesome and I wanted to share w/ you, so no credits go the me.
    (Sorry if I posted in wrong section; I am new here).

    tbh i think so, since the mob goes normal for everyone

    a suggestion for me is if your tame is 20 seconds long, use the meat and wait until the 3 second of the cool down
    than start taming it, it will disappear at the right time

    The real trick is this;
    The distance between the guy throwing the quest item and the wolf.
    When you trap wolf, it takes full trap. What it then does is, it goes to the position of the guy who threw the meat, waits some 5 seconds then runs off to despawn.

    To make this easy just have him stand on top of you make distance to the trap pretty much like 7 yards, then just cast tame on 8-9 seconds.
    You will get the hang of the time you have after a few tries

    don't know if this what you guys were trying to exlplain, but me and my friend found an easy way to do it. Throw the meat and let him eat it, then shoot the trap in the direction he's going to run back to then hit tame as soon as he is frozen and you will get it. I only had the quest on an alt so I had my friend double freeze it so I could quickly re-log my hunter in time to tame him on 2nd freeze.

    oh, and incase you didn't watch the entire video DO NOT BRING HIM INTO ARENA it will make him lose his oil . You should edit that into first post.

    I learned of this on Petopia, that fansite for hunters, and the method was tough. For a rundown for those who don't like clicking html links, here's a step by step guide;

    1. In Borean Tundra, do the quests in Fizzcrank Airport until you get "Finding Pilot Tailspin"
    2. Once you get to him, he will give you the quest "A Little Bit of Spice", followed by "Lupus Pupus"
    3. For Lupus Pupus, you need to feed the oil stained wolves some meat to make them take a dump. The wolves become neutral when you do this, and despawn after 20~ seconds.
    4. The Hunter who wants one must place a Freezing Trap infront of the one throwing the meat.
    5. Once frozen, you must wait until roughly half of the duration of the trap is left.
    6. Start your Tame, and hope you got it timed right. The higher your haste, the faster the tame, so I would suggest not having any gear on for this. I did it naked, got it with 8 seconds on the ice trap.
    7. If done correctly, your tame bar will end AND the pet will despawn. Use call pet, and if nothing appears, then try again.

    The wolf is like Garwal, using a buff that it should not have. Don't get too attached to the pet, as Blizzard may be rude and remove something from the community that they damage the most.

    Worked like a charm! Oh by the way I let my mate throw the meat as soon as I put my trap down a couple of yars in front of the wolf.

    With 8 seconds left on the trap timer, I start the tame. Took me about 6/7 attempts but got it! +REP!

    Working 100% - Just did it.

    I know it's not your glitch, but I'm giving you rep for bringing it to me.

    With 415 haste and freezing the wolf ON the meat just before it started eating, I started taming towards the end of 7 seconds left. Caught it second try.
