Avoid Unbound Plague on Putricide Heroic

This needs confirmation but I have tested it for 3 weeks now in both 25 and 10man, can just be me that is lucky but I really doubt it, and I will explain why.

What this thread is about;
Avoid the plague on you on Putricide - it can be for many reasons but biggest is really that Plague is easily bounced around by healers so say your a tank healer or a DPS, you might not want this - you want big numbers on your screen instead

How to:
It's really simple. Go buy [Iron Boot Flask] and when you are about to pull, flask up. Not only do you get a dumb looking transformation, but you can't be targeted by the Plague.

So far I have tested it for 3 weeks on my own character in a total of 5 instances (I skipped ICC10 one week) and I have found that I never get targeted.
I also found out that if you have the transformation on, you are not capable of taking the plague from other players, which is why I come to believe I wasn't just being lucky.

Please test it out and come back with experience - I will keep testing it.

I suggest that you never got it is based on chance, like when i didn't get any oozes @ rotface 3x in a row. But you could probably test this best if you let the whole raid use this flask and that the ooze doesnt target anyone. If you confirm that then you get +Rep from me

Exactly. I don't know where to post this because I am not 100% sure but having tested in 5 kills now, it seems there's a pattern

Not terribly awful odds that in 5 kills you wouldn't be targeted by the initial plague. I think there are 8 candidates per plague, so 7/8 chance that you won't get picked.. Lets assume 5 plagues per kill:

.875^25= 3.55% chance that you wouldn't be picked for 25 consecutive plague casts. You'd have even better odds if you killed him before 5 went out (pretty likely).

I agree with the not terrible odds, but the part about not being able to receive it from other players requires testing, could we get confirmation of this from someone? I will try it next time I am doing HM PP, but won't be til next week.

Well, if you can't take the plague from anyone, that means this exploit is working since if you're near the person with the plague, it spreads to you.

Just entered with 2 people (me as tank and another healing me) both Flasked and the healer got it. So either not working or it's a very specific thing (like you must have atleast 1 guy without it and it will target him always or w/e)

not working, tried it on 25man hc, after we killed him the plague was still there so i tried it
i got the plague passed on me for like 3 times with the iron bound thing

This is very weird although you are testing it to not work, a guildie got this to work but not on purpose, so he ticketed and asked why he could not take the plague off his fellow raidmembers - the GM confirmed that this is a known bug and something they are working on.

Exact way I did it was pop the flask before fight starts.
I'm fine with calling it not working, as they are working on it to be fixed aswell it seems
