Guardians Fake-It! (Fake chat messages, Retail Version)

    |
    Fake-It!
This is the Retail version of my previous EMU version found here:
    HTML Code:
    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-of-warcraft/emulator-servers/programs/300002-guardians-fake-fake-messages-others.html
A simple program that lets you send fake chat messages (Client side only!) in your WoW.

    How to use
    1. Run it (duh)
    2. Select which chat type.
    3. Put their name in (option to put GM tag on name)
    4. Put their message. (you can preview your message on the program)
    5. Hit the Fake-It! button.
    6. Go back ingame and Paste(Ctrl+V) the message into your chat box.

    Screenshots
    The program,

Showing the different fake messages as an example.
Big image just click it to view.

    Download

If you want an EMU Version use the one found in the EMU Section.

Any wow version since it uses a script: Fake-It! Retail Version.exe

Looks impressive, however I'm wondering if this is not client side.
Like the Blizz symbol, wish to see from someone else if the 'image' is really visible.

Player X yells it, Player Y screenshots.

"Fear, is the true opiate of combat"

It says: A simple program that lets you send fake chat messages (Client side only!) in your WoW. ... so I got your question answer'd!

Is this based on hp94's "Fake Your Chat Logs!"? Looks really nice and helpful - I will always do these the manual way but that's just me

It is not based on Hp94's thread. None of my information came from his thread I got the scripts from Wowwiki's WoWAPI page and I got the color codes myself, then I got the GM icon code by looking in the blizzard UI addon for GM chatting. You can relate our threads but in no way is it based off of it. I came out with this back in July. I saw hp94's post yesterday for the first time.

On a side note: Wewt 100 posts!

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...chat-logs.html

Comes out early June, predating your creation by about a month.

Comes out late June, predating your creation by less than a month.

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...es-others.html

Comes out early July, after my scripts. Completely possible to be a coincidence, if your program that I haven't really looked at uses print instead of ChatFrame1:AddMessage.

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...l-version.html

Comes out 3 days ago, after you most likely saw my thread. If it's to work on Live Servers, needs to use /script print, /script ChatFrame1:AddMessage, or something without Injection.

Now, thats TOO much coincidence. I don't mind if you used my codes, effiecent or not, it's just, well, look at it from my perspective. I'm glad you made this convenient with the addon, but, what do you expect me to believe?

I did make my retail version of my program after seeing your thread. You gave me a reason to make a retail version because it seemed people were more interested in faking chat messages than I believed. I never saw your thread when I made my EMU version. I used none of your scripts in my program as used Wowwiki.com's WoWAPI page as a resource. The only difference between my EMU and Retail version is that EMU just injects the LUA itself and executes it. While Retail version puts the script into your clipboard. I simply removed any memory reading on EMU and changed it to clipboard, that is all. I do indeed use Print instead of Addmessage as I found it to be easier.

Then may I suggest using the Raid Warnings, Server (Default), Alliance and Horde Server, and RealID sections from my thread and adding them to yours? If you need any help I can give it.

Also, I would like a version that allows you to remotely operate that program on another pc.
Such as install program on friends pc, then install remote client on yours, ???, profit...

Wow well that is very possible but I have school on Monday but I will start sketching up ideas for the other target program. I am always willing to try new things.
