[Warlock] Aggro Same Faction Guards

Well I did a search for Hellfire Guards and nothing came up so here it is

1) I Used a succubus, have it set to Defensive and have Soul Link turned on
2) Ive tried this everywhere, and only works for places your Neutral with check that out in the reputation tab

3) Use Hellfire in sight of any friendly guards
4) Have pvp turned on (/pvp)

You should spawn multiple guards hf attention whoring


(Im presuming the reason for this bug is that your indirectly doing damage to your pet via soul link and hellfire, havent thought of any interesting applications for this, if you do please post some!)

Doesn't work for me :S Did everything you said. Are you sure you don't play on a private server? :P If not, MORE DETAILS!!

Nope thats all im doing, Succy, SoulLink, PvP Enabled, Defensive setting on pet.

No, its not a private server, its Live.


Edit: as a small note the succy had autocast Seduce and Lesser invis on, I cant see any other possible variables to reproduce the bug, been doing it for about an hour now.

Those guards do make this sounds as if they noticed some enemy. But they simply don't attack. Do you mind making a new screenshot where you show your UI?

Explain why you're neutral to stormwind. You can't be neutral with stormwind on retail.

I Faction changed, guess I didnt take that into consideration, im model editing from gnome female to ud female aswell altho that has no impact on the bug, i'll update the list to reflect needing neutrality.

I can get neutral factions to attack me with this, I can't get any friendly or above to.

it cant be a bug with faction change, I did however boost this char with RaF in dungeons and therefor never got rep with horde factions before moving the char to alliance. So I guess youve just gotta have neutrality

I've seen this done before by a Lock in Ogrimmmar but I can't find it for the life of me. It wasn't here on MMOwned, but on a realm forum I believe.

One thing I noticed is that your Succy doesn't have Lesser Invisibility enabled, which I'm thinking might be the cause. I have a level 37 Lock and as soon as my Succys Lesser Invis wears off I will try again and post my findings.

Well, Lesser Invis faded and I proceeded to try a few different spots nears guards to no avail. My Lock is an UD and I thought that it would possibly work if I was in Undercity. Headed there and found (to my disappointment) that it still wouldn't work.

I'd like to suggest someone try this with a Fel Guard as I believe this is the Demon that was used in the video I saw about this similar topic.

What? I have an 80 alt that's still neutral with Undercity/Silvermoon.
