    Remove Shadow traps in HM LK without dieing

    In phase 1 of the heroic lich king encounter a shadow trap will persist for a few mins after targeting somebody. It is removed when someone runs in it but they get thrown off the ledge. To remove it without getting thrown off the ledge have a mage run into it then blink. They set off the shadow trap while still being alive. This reduces the amount of distance you need to move as a raid.

    Or you can just move like 5 yds from the trap and never trigger it? :P There's plenty of space to move anyway, if you're moving away from the Shadow Trap placement, and someone walks into it... you're obviously doing it wrong. lol

    Not an exploit. Other classes can do this as well (Feral Druid - Charge, Warrior - Charge/Intercept/Intervene).

    Everyone can do it as long as they can live through the initial blast. Just position yourself so you'll be blown into one of the pillars. You'll hit it and stop.

    I have been doing this for a few months now on my mage. There are problems with doing it however. In a 25 man environment you would have to coordinate everyone around the shadowtrap, assuming they moved a minimal distance away for performance purposes, to move a safe distance which requires them to stop healing, attacking, etc. The most use I have gotten out of this is with our mages and other ranged such as warlocks that typically hang far back from the LK and most other casters. It is much easier to coordinate 3-4 people than the entire ranged group.

    I'm pretty sure paladins can divine shield, and just stand in it and itll go away, without flinging them.

    Yea, and warlocks could do it also... just use teleport
