Shortcut to crafting an item in action bars

I still don't know how we can use it but i think knowing this is better than not .

buy/find/get a recipe for your profession and put it in a slot in your action bar then click on it . now you have a key for using that recipe directly from you action bar .

there is no use for it thats with any item that has charges. EG eternals<->crystals and any other item with charges

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think what the OP is saying is that you can put a shortcut to crafting an item on the hotbars?

But this only works with a Recipe you have in your bag, which you learn and after that you will still have it in your actionbars?
To sum up - For me it sounds like you can only do this with patterns that's not trained from a proffession trainer.
