[Bug] GCD/Casting while Falling Bug w/QuickTrack Hack

NOTE: Upon Death or entering an instance (BG, Arena, Raid, Heroics, etc.) you may have to reload QuickTrack. Also if you logoff.

Update: You can unload QuickTrack after the bug has taken effect if you feel insecure.

So as I was questing on my priest, I realized I had trouble finding an npc. So I downloaded the QuickTrack

I am completely not sure if this will work for everyone, but its working for me. So go look at this video. This isn't client side as it allows me to apply all my dots quicker.

So if you looked at the video, you can see the GCD is going by fast, and I am casting while falling. Now the GCD may not look right but at level 64, I have no GCD increasing talents in shadow. So theres a bit of proof.

Now how did I do this? Simple.
1. Log on WoW.
2. Download and launch QuickTrack.
3. Attach it to your WoW Proc ID.
4. Done. Test it out.


Cast While Falling.
1. Get on a flying mount.
2. Go near a target.
3. Cast a spell. You need auto-dismount enabled in Interface options.
4. Don't move forward; just fall and it should still cast.

So what is this good for?

>You can kill people in the air if you are strong enough, (mages slowfall, mount up, and cast arcane blast whilst falling slowly, then PoM Arcane Blast, then Arcane Barrage if you specced into it. Maybe you can work in a fire blast.

Is this QuickTrack a hack? Cause then it wouldn´t be an exploit, wrong section.

Uhm, this is an exploit... QuickTrack is a tracking hack... not a GCD/Casting Hack.

Read the rules as it does not state exploits involving hacks. Especially when a tracking hack does something unintentional.

Thus being an exploit as it bends game mechanics towards your advantage.

QuickTrack is somehow unintentionally decreasing the GCD and the casting in air effect occurs as well.

I can confirm. On my druid, feral spec with 0 haste rating. The GCD is quite long. Upon loading up quicktrack and attacking and tracking all (which may not be needed), i notice a significant decrease in the GCD. Maybe with some timestamps I can figure out if its genuinely decreasing the GCD.

edit: heres part of a combat log as well as my anonymous armory http://www.armoryx.com/anonymous-wow-profile/542232 to show I was feral spec with zero haste. This GCD bug is genuine and it WORKS.

I was beginning to wonder why my tree would sometimes have really fast casts and sometimes it would be somewhat slow. Guess I'll kep quicktrack loaded no matter what. I can drop all the haste off my gear too

I wasnt attacking or flying. I was just spamming a spell on myself (lifebloom)

btw Ssateneth, Haste has nothing to do with GCD. Its well advised to keep the haste.

If haste affected GCD, I'd probably have no GCD on my warlock

lol wow. How long have you played WoW? In late BC, Blizz allowed haste to affect the GCD of spells. The cap for affecting GCD on spells is down to 1 second (66.6666% spell haste) If you don't believe me, here's proof according to blizzard's own site.

EDIT: I just noticed something. All of my spells that used to have cast times now say that they are instant cast, even my revive spell for ressing people. Obviously they aren't instant cast but that's a strong link to the reduced GCD.
