Easy gold with frozen orbs

Hello.

First of all, I'd like to say that I have searched the forums here, and I didn't find anything similar to this. But if it's a repost, I'm extremely sorry.

As you all know, you can buy stuff in Dalaran with Frozen orb, but what we're aiming for here is eternal fire. Eternal Fire goes for about 25g on AH on my server, and Frozen orbs go for like 5 gold, making it a 20g profit, just for buying Frozen Orbs, going to Dalaran to buy Eternal Fire and then sell it on the AH.

Not sure about you but most server I play on have orbs cost like 20-30g.

Have you tried looking for stacks, as they're usually cheaper than singles. And it also depends a bit on the day and the time of day, but on all servers I have characters on, it's usually a huge profit to do this.

Orbs on my server are 45-60g
But it was worth the effort +rep.

Hmmmm are we sure that you really get a profit, the way you said sounds good but I'm not sure that you get that huge profit though, it would be very very easy way to earn loads of money so can be nice!

frozen orbs on my server goes for 30g each! eternal fire 19g! but yea this could work on servers there frozen orb cost 5-10g

Shit, I didn't even know you could turn in frozen orbs for eternal fire.

However as for everyone els here the orbs cost more then the eternal fires on my server.

Well, I play on Outland-EU on my main wich ive earned like 7k gold using this method, also got alts on anachronos and grim batol, wich ive earned some gold on as well.

Hah, last time I played retail orbs where 5g and Eternal Fires 30g. Pretty awesome idea.

Indeed. This is a technique that I brought up in several of my money making threads.

Usually the most profit comes from purchasing Frozen Orbs and trading them for Crusader Orbs.

As a simplified version of what you're proclaiming:

Check out the ratio of Orbs to Item needed from Frozo the Renowned - NPC - World of Warcraft
Then check out the AH and see if you can convert orbs to those items for profit.

It's a simple solid idea that works on some servers but it's a pretty common practice on a lot of servers and not new.

And yeah a great idea if it works on your servers economy, but on mine i think people have worked this out and frozen orb price is almost exactly the same as eternals

EDIT: For those that say Frozen Orbs are expensive and stuff like that, do you check everyday and stuff like that?

I checked today, and orbs went up to like 15g from 5g, but Eternal Fires are still at 25g, so still profit in it. But seems like the prices varies alot, so just try to get some orbs whenever you see they are cheap.

tho its not that many servers where orbs are worth this little as they are on (our) server.
