    [Lycosa Keyboard][Boomkin] DPS Macros

    Hi MMOwned!

I recently got the Razer Lycosa keyboard and have been doing some macros with it.
I just did 3 macros that makes my life as a boomkin even easier.

The first macro I did casts "Faerie Fire" followed by a "Moonfire" and a "Insect Swarm".
It cast those spells from one keypress. I have that binded to F1.

My second macro is really simple, it spams "Wrath".
It keeps casting "Wrath" until I press another key.

My last macro is just as simple as the second, it spams "Starfire".
And it keeps casting "Starfire" until I press another button.

So how do I DPS with these?
Well, I start by pressing F1, that will apply all the dots on the target.
Then I press F2, that will make my character cast "Wrath" over and over again.
When "Lunar Eclipse" procs, I press F3, that will make my character cast "Starfire" instead of "Wrath".
And then I wait for a "Solar Eclipse" and then i press F2 again so I start to cast "Wrath" again.

This works for other classes and speccs to, but boomkins have a very simple rotation so its very easy to make their rotation.

This is how to do it:
You need to have a "Razer Lycosa".

Start by open up the program you get with the keyboard.
(uploading images tomorrow, way to tired atm)

Choose a new profile if you already have macros on the current one.

Press the key you want to bind the DOTs to (I use F1)
You will see a new window in the program.
    (Image here)

Click the box so it turns white.
Hit the key you have "Faerie Fire" bound to on your keyboard.
Now we need to add some delay until the next spell is cast, the global cooldown on WoW is 1,5 sec, so add 1500ms delay. (choose 100ms delay form the drop-down menu and press "insert delay" 15 times)
Now hit the key that you have "Moonfire" bound to, then add 1500ms delay.
And now hit the key thats bound to "Insect Swarm".
The macro is complete, press "OK" and try it out.
(Images will make it easier to understand, they are coming tomorrow)

The next macro is the "Wrath" macro.
Press the F2 button on the image of the keyboard in the program.
Press the grey box so it turns white.
Press the key that you have "Wrath" bound to.
Now press "Repeat until next key is pressed".
    Yay, complete!

Now make a macro on F3 with "Starfire" instead of "Wrath".
Don't forget the "Repeat until next key is pressed".

Images will hopefully makes this tutorial much easier to understand,
    I will upload them tomorrow.

I'm also taking requests of other classes/speccs macros.
Some will be harder, some will be impossible (Feral cat could be a hard/impossible one)

    Have fun!

As I myself have a lycosa I've done these kinds of stuff before. However, there's a problem with this. You can't move a bit, or use any keys or you will stop casting which is really bad for boss fights.

I usually only use it to spam Rejuv, swiftmend, lifebloom and wild growth while following tank when I want to go to the toilet during an HC. I'm lazy, I know.

It's good to teach those who don't know what to do with the macro's in lycosa, but you should also remember that this is considered "bad" by blizzard since this is automated gameplay. Like a bot. They probably won't notice it, but just a heads up.

I had the problem with moving myself.
But if you move with your mouse (Hold both buttons) it will not stop

Didn't know Blizzard was against it, but when I think about it, it is really a "advantage".
But the ban risk is probably minimal, as long you don't go around and talk about it you should be safe.

And your afk macro sounds sweet ^^
I suppose making it throw a heal now and then is enough for HC's today.

Good idea but I tend to stick to in game macros to avoid possible bans. although if you are at your comp screen having some form of interaction with the game then I would say Blizz would find it very hard to prove you are using non-game macros.

I'm at my computer all the time when using this.
I still need to press another key when I get a proc.

Yea, You shouldn't worry about the possibilty of being banned, I'm just giving it a heads up. Aslong as you don't use it to say... auto-join BG and anti-afk with a few macros it shouldn't be any problem at all.

hmm nice, but you forget one important thing, refreshing your dots.. The best moonkin dps rotation is FF when the fight starts, then MF, ISS, and then spaming wraths until eclipse, when eclipse comes, refresh only moonfire, start starfires until eclipse, put insect swarm and wrath until eclipse and round and round and round.
The key is in dots because moonfire is increasing crit chance with starfire and insect swarm is increasing your dmg with wrath... so this macro is useless if you want to do high dps ... only way to do dps right is doing it by yourself ...logically
