A little tutorial I found.

For a big jump in FPS you can create 3 macros even after placing all your game settings to "lowest":

If you get any problems, you can just simply delete your WTF and replace it with your old one.

(Copy your current WTF folder now and place it somewhere you will remember)

Macro 1:

/console ffx 0
/console hwPCF 1
/console shadowlod 0
/console timingmethod 1
/console showshadow 0
/console showfootprints 0
/console showfootprintparticles 0


/console overridefarclip 0
/console farclip 177
/console horizonfarclip 1305
/console detailDoodadAlpha 0
/console groundeffectdensity 16
Macro 3:


/console groundeffectdist 1
/console smallcull 1
/console skycloudlod 1
/console characterAmbient 1
/console extshadowquality 0
/console environmentDetail 0.5

If you have a dual-core processor add this to the first macro.


Macro text:

/console m2Faster 1

Tri-core

Macro text:

/console m2Faster 2

Quad-core

Macro text:


/console m2Faster 3

Then click them in order (macro 1 -> 3)


If you want your WoW to run in an even faster and smoother do this:

Note... This causes your WoW to run on a higher CPU

Open notepad.exe and type:

If you have Windows XP:


@echo off
cd /d "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft"
start /high WoW.exe
If you have Windows Vista or 7:


@echo off
cd /d "C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft"
start /high WoW.exe
Save this file as "WoW.bat" (without the ") and use it to start WoW (SAVE IT IN YOUR WoW FOLDER)

Yeah, I constantly use gamebooster, just shuts down unwanted Services etc, Helps alot.

True, but if some people play with a Shit Capture card, they might want FPS Over Graphics.

I use Gamebooster, have no need for the macros, i tested and they do work though.

If everything's at bottom, put projected textures on, then you can see fire... Also, downloaded gamebooster, thanks for the link it is very good +rep
