No durability on VDW

Found this while wiping on VDW HM today. If you are about to wipe, just keep "out of combat" and enter a portal. If the remaining of the raid dies, the fight will reset while you are still inside the portal, and you will survive without getting durability.

For those who don't know what VDW is: It is Valithria Dreamwalker, a boss in Icecrown Citadel.

Isn't a exploit it's intended to be that way...It's not like you die so there would be no reason to get a repair bill really

I accidently did this last night on my priest, and I don't believe it's intended, the scene just resets once everyone is dead as intended, but somehow it doesn't count the people inside the dream.

It's pretty handy, considering most other healers generally stay out if the raid is wiping, I wasn't watching and jumped back in, thoguht to myself "I wonder if I can get past the entrance gate" (as the gate doesn't appear in the dream version) and low and behold just before I got to it, the thing reset and I was fine!

Been doing this for awhile, also you can run to a corner if you get put outside while people are still dieing and just dont move or cast anything and the fight will reset when the last person dies. (im a tank anyway so I can take the few secs of dmg)

You can get the same effect (sort of) during Sindragosa. If a wipe is called out, try and get in Iceblocked and if she kills everyone outside of the blocks, she resets and the Iceblock despawns.

just make sure you dont have sated anyone with sated after a wipe in my raids are forced to take a "leap of faith" off of saurfang's platform..

Yeah, done that a couple of times too, but it is not very easy to get off, compared to Valithria, and you can't do anything to affect it. (You can, in p3, but that would most probably just earn you a yell on vent).

Have you maybe considered that this may have not been the case when the original post was made? A lot has changed in 4 months.
