How to get the title: "The Insane"

[GUIDE IS COMPLETLY MADE BY ME! ALL CREDITS TO ME! THE ONLYTHING I "STOLE" WAS THE PICTURE UNDER DARKMOON FAIRE FROM: Warcraft with an Obsessive Twist]

Need to start somewhere, and it wont be like a "Hurray, this is easy", I'll start of to say this; while farming to the insane title you WILL get boored, so this require alot of patience!

What do you need?

Honored with Bloodsail Buccaneers
Exalted with Everlook
Exalted with Ratchet
Exalted with Ravenholdt
Exalted with Booty Bay
Exalted with Gadgetzan
Exalted with Darkmoon Faire
Exalted with Shen'dralar

The Plan

You will earn the reputation in this order:

1. Bloodsail Buccaneers
2. Booty Bay, Everlook, Gadgetzan and Ratchet (AKA Steamwheedle Cartel)
3. Ravenholdt
4. Shen'dralar
5. Darkmoon Faire



Follow these steps to get exalted with all those factions:

- Bloodsail Buccaneers -

With these you only need honored. How to get honored with these? Well that is VERY easy, all you have to do is to kill guards in Booty Bay. Killing alot of guards gives you + with Bloodsail Buccaneers, but also gives you - with Booty Bay, Everlook, Gadgetzan and Ratchet. Thatswhy you farm up these first!

From maximum hated you’ll need to kill 2,040 guards in Booty Bay to get to Honored


- Steamwheedle Cartel -

This contins reputation from Booty Bay, Everlook, Gadgetzan and Ratchet. (Those 4 together is steamwheedle cartel) This is the most tough one, it requires alot of patience. You'll have to kill thousands of mobs. Yes, thousands.

You'll farm these by killing pirates just outside ratchet. (picture below)



- Ravenholdt -

You'll start out as neutral with Ravenholdt, the method is to kill Syndicate Members (Syndicate - Faction - World of Warcraft) untill you are 11999/12000 Honored. After that you'll have to farm heavy lockboxes. More exactly 1405 boxes for the quest Junkboxes Needed - Quest - World of Warcraft

To gather these lockboxes you'll have to get a rogue to farm them or beeing a rogue. To farm them follow these routes.

1. Blackrock Depths - Route 1
2. Tyr's Hand - Any mob within Tyr's Hand!


- Shen'dralar -

You'll earn reputation with this faction by doing three repeat-able quests:
Libram of Focus - Quest - World of Warcraft
Libram of Protection - Quest - World of Warcraft
Libram of Rapidity - Quest - World of Warcraft
Each turn-in yields 500 reputation requiring a total of 84 to finish the grind.

84 Librams
84 Pristine Black Diamonds
15-20 Hours to farm mix of 84 stitchings/skins of shadow/blood of heroes
5-10 Hours of time checking AH
1-2 Hours of time to turn everything in


- Darkmoon Faire -

This is the most expensive one!

Starting out at 0/3000 Neutral with the Darkmoon Faire it takes 120 epic deck quest completes to get to exalted. If you manage to get these decks at a prize of 200g each it will cost 24,000g!

5-10 Hours to grind to honored
No gold cost

- Steamwheedle Cartel -
20-30 Hours to grind
No gold cost

- Shen’dralar -
84 Librams
84 Pristine Black Diamonds

1-2 Hours of time to turn everything in

- Ravenholdt -
1405 Junkboxes = 18 Hours of pickpocket grinding
OR
1405 Junkboxes = 14050g if paying someone else

10-15 Hours of time checking AH
1-2 Hours turning in

To gather these lockboxes you'll have to get a rogue to farm them, beeing a rogue or buy at auction house. To farm them follow these routes.

Correction, you can't put up lockboxes on AH.

You forget about 2 things
shen'dralar rep: quest Pusillin and the Elder Azj'Tordin and class books from dire maul each gives 500 repu so only 82 librams and diamonds needed

Last reputation I need is Shen'dralar and I f*cking hate my realm... Pristine Black Diamond @ AH ~700G, Librams ~350G.... And Darkmoon Decks? 700-1k gold per one.. Glad to have Darkmoons done already...

Also in rachet the map u put u earn 5 rep per kill and Half for the rest for example u will get 2.5 for the rest of the cartel rep. So lets say first kill will give 5 to rachet and either 2 or 3 to the rest goblins faction. So if in ur fist kill u got 3 rep for Booty bay then next kill will give u 2.

Last thing is after honored u cant get more rep on that. But u can continue to gain rep from other honored faction. For example:

Lets say we got Booty Bay, Everlook, Gadgetzan and Ratchet if all are honored and someone is farming in the map u locate over there...

They will get rep for the rest faction except Ratchet. So Pay close attention if u want to do that otherwise u can go to a back up plan by going and free the goblin on dire maul> run 1 2 instance in case u have the aditional instance thing and there u go!

Also if u choose that way the first time u do that quest will give u 250 rep with All goblins faction and aditional will give u 75.

For darkmoon faire it is really simple. Only thing u need is to have a bit patient. And total no gold spend. Just have an inspriction friend to make rogues deck all the time or have it on alt * it will take around 1k decks* make a macro to accept and give the quest also accepting the reward and u will be done without paying insane money * Thus the title is called The insane!*

By the way if you are not tired of farming boxes for yourself you can get some good money by selling them to others insane-goers So if you are in BRD and done collecting finishing route for some extras might bring you one or two hundreds of gold.
