Guide to getting Junkie Acces on Arenajunkies

I am gonna take you step by step to teach you how to get an arena junkies Junkie account, even though you lack the gladiator/2400 experience.

The first thing im gonna answer however, why would you want to be a Junkie on arenajunkies.com?

The first reason is, it gives you acces to posting in specific class forums, and while there is an ''ask a gladiator'' section on Arenajunkies, the questions posted there usually remain unanswered, while questions posted in the class forums are usually answered in less then half an hour, so its a good source of information if you have some questions about your class in pvp.

The second is that nowadays the Tournament Realm is up, and most of the people who want to play there want to make sure that you get decent partners in order to get your pet/title.
On Arenajunkies there is a section, only avaible for junkies, where you can recruit people for the TR (and for the normal realms aswell), this gives you acces to all kinds of high-quality 2600+ players who otherwise wouldn't play with you, and since you donot use your normal char on the TR, nobody is going to find out that your actually not who your saying you are (unless you are completely horrible).

The third is that there are plenty of contests being held on arenajunkies where you can win both SCII Beta keys, Cataclysm Beta keys (later) and all sorts of other goodies, again these contests are only avaible for Junkies.

Now that I have told you why you would want to be a junkie on AJ, here is a step-by-step on how to get it.

Step 1
Go to Guild Rankings - Arena Junkies and a guild on a low-profile server (not US-blackrock, US-mal'ganis or EU-Stormscale, if you claim to be someone famous who your not, odds are your gonna get called out on it)

Step 2
Start looking for a person with a gladiator title (so you get unlimited acces) and who isn't indexed. (You see a big cross over their comments section with the text ''Use not Indexed''
An example of such an account would be Dahisex US-Sargeras - Profile - Arena Junkies or Narcotikz US-Korgath - Profile - Arena Junkies
but you can search other alternatives yourself, just keep shifting trough names of players and eventually you will find someone with gladiator who isn't indexed.
You could also take someone high-rated without gladiator, however that means you will probably have to shift accounts when the season ends (that is, if the char you picked doesn't get glad)

Step 3

Go to Arena Junkies Forums
Create a user name/password and enter the information about the character you picked as your avatar.
You have to enter a valid e-mail adres though, you will get an e-mail asking you to confirm your sighup.

Thats all for this guide, about ~2 hours after you sign up and confirm, they will check the armory to confirm that you are indeed a glad/2400+ player, and you will be free to post anything you want in the junkie sections.

Just for reference, their moderation are kinda strict on flaming posts, so if you get 7 infractions you'l be permanently banned, however they donot use IP bans, so you can just sign up with another character.


This last paragraph is only for the people who want to imput some effort to get a red face (rank 1 title) next to their name.
This is kinda dangerous though, as most people will know the rank1 people off their BG, and if you go to all-out on the forums people will call you out on being fake.

I personally did this and its kinda cool, people really attribute more credit to your posts just because you have a rank 1 title next to your name.

You can use lists like Rank 1 Titles [Archive] - Arena Junkies Forums (and others, they can be found on arenajunkies if you know how to search) for a full list of rank one gladiators.
You can then cross-check that list to the people who have registered and then you will probably find one or two who havn't registered.
