FOURTH: Cool Stuffs, Must-Have Creations For Any Engineer - Continued

    m) GNOMISH POULTRIZER

One day, long ago, the executives of McDonalds searched for a way to mass produce chickens, without the costly procedure of actually having to raise them. Frustrated, they decided to contact the Gnomes. These poor gnomes worked day and night under the threat of torture and imprisonment, and... this is what they came up with. May their souls rest in pieces-er... peace.

Yes this is a gun that turns your target into a chicken. The target can still move and melee, but can't cast it also loses 66% of it's attack-damage. Quite useful in pvp, or as a tanking trinket at low levels. Taught by any gnomish-engineer trainer.

    Materials:

    2 Hardened Adamantite Tube
    =Mats for this:
    =6 Hardened Adamantite
    Bar
    2 Khorium Power Core
    =Mats for this:
    =6 Khorium Bar
    =2 Primal Fire

    10 Arcane Dust
    2 Large Prismatic Shard

    mmm...nuggets....

    n) SEAFORIUM CHARGES

These are amongst Engineering's most practical devices. Stuck at the entrance to scholomance? Who needs a key!? Blow it up! Combing brute force with fine mechanics, these charges do just that: this charge will allow you to open Outland doors AND locked chests that require a rogue's maximum lockpicking skill (basically anything up to 350 lockpicking). The Schematic: Elemental Seaforium Charge is sold by Karaaz in Netherstorm and Paulsta'ats in Nagrand.

    Materials:

    2 Elemental Blasting Powder
    =Mats for this:
    =1 Mote of Fire
    =1 Mote of Earth

    1 Fel Iron Casing
    =Mats for this:
    =3 Fel Iron Bar

1 Handful of Fel Iron Bolts
    =Mats for this:
    =1 Fel Iron Bar

    o) GNOMISH DEATH RAY

"Death or Serious Injury may result from use of this device."... funny, it doesn't specify as to whom... Nonetheless, this is a very fun and potent trinket, but more for masochists (or perhaps you sickos with a pain fetish of some sort). It does NOT require engineering to use, but if you are an engineer you may as well have one. This item drains your life and directly converts it into damage. It no longer crits, the average is about 1000 damage, but it can reach 3400 damage and higher. Quite nice for leveling and using as a final blast to kill an elite mob, or just scare the bejesus out of someone who attempted to gank you.

Death Ray, Poultry Gun, Rocket Boots, and Parachute away!

    Materials:

    2 Mithril Tube
    =Mats for this:
    =6 Mithril Bar

    1 Unstable Trigger
    =Mats for this:
    =1 Mithril Bar
    =1 Mageweave Cloth
    =1 Solid Blasting Powder
    ==Mats for this:
    ==2 Solid Stone

    4 Ichor of Undeath
    1 Inlaid Mithril Cylinder

    =Mats for this:
    =5 Mithril Bar
    =1 Gold Bar
    =1 Truesilver Bar

    p) Nigh Invulnerability Belt

Another extraordinary useful little belt, particularly while leveling. Accidentally pull a mob train? No problem! Pop this belt, protect yourself from 4000 damage for 8 seconds, and rocket boot your nubly butt away! Taught by any gnome engineering trainer.

    Materials:

    8 Heavy Knothide Leather
    4 Khorium Power Core
    =Mats for this:
    =12 Khorium Bar
    =4 Primal Fire

    10 Primal Life
    10 Primal Shadow

    2 Delicate Arcanite Converter
    =Mats for this:
    =2 Arcanite Bar
    =2 Ironweb Spider Silk

    q) GNOMISH NET-O-MATIC PROJECTOR

This trinket is really nice for pvp when you need to catch up to someone, just throw it on them. Also useful in PvE if you are trying to run away from something, or if you are a hunter and you are taming a pet. Taught by any gnomish engineering trainer.

    Materials:

    1 Mithril Tube
    =Mats for this:
    =3 Mithril Bar

    2 Shadow Silk
    2 Thick Spider's Silk
    1 Solid Blasting Powder

    =Mats for this:
    =2 Solid Stone

    4 Mithril Bar

    r) GNOMISH BATTLE CHICKEN

....BBBAAAWWWWKKKK. The chickens, angry at being cheaply reproduced by gnomes plan revenge against McDonalds. With the help of other gnomish engineers they perfected the perfect weapon. This is the result. It's a fun pet, you have no control over it and you don't get a pet bar, it acts like a pet set to aggressive and does a staggering 1 damage per attack. f it enrages (does so often) it deals 40-70 damage (against a lvl70 target) every 1 second, lasts 10 seconds per enrage. Occasionally it Battle Squawks, the entire group has +5% attack speed for 5 minutes. Taught by any gnomish engineering trainer.

    Materials:
    1 Mithril Casing
    =Mats for this:
    =3 Mithril Bar

    6 Truesilver Bar
    6 Mithril Bar
    2 Inlaid Mithril
    Cylinder
    =Mats for this:
    =10 Mithril Bar
    =2 Gold Bar
    =2 Truesilver Bar

    2 Jade
    2 Gold Power Core

    =Mats for this:
    =1 Gold Bar

mmmm... nuggets... just a bit... crunchier?

    s) ULTRA-SAFE TRANSPORTER: GADGETZAN

Despite the "guarantee", the worlds ultra-safe are really not so accurate... at all. But most of the time it does what it says. Taught by any gnomish engineer. On failure, you can either be teleported at a fatal height in the air near Gadgetzan or receive a debuff called "Evil Twin" which prevents you from being summoned. You can also be stunned on the transporter pad for several seconds while you are temporarily transformed into a Trogg or Kobold.

    Materials:

    12 Mithril Bar
    2 Truesilver Transformer

    =Mats for this:
    =4 Truesilver Bar
    =4 Elemental Earth
    =2 Elemental Air

    4 Core of Earth
    2 Globe of Water
    4 Aquamarine
    1 Inlaid Mithril Cylinder

    =Mats for this:
    =5 Mithril Bar
    =1 Gold Bar
    =1 Truesilver Bar

    t) GOBLIN ROCKET HELMET

The Goblins, not to be out done by the gnomes, decided to come up with their own clever little invention. Their efforts were fruitless for the longest time, until one goblin had the brilliant idea of strapping a rocket to his helmet and charging at the nearest gnome. This unfortunately did not work out as planned and he was decapitated, his mutilated head flew at the gnome ultimately killing both. After several law suits the Goblin's son managed to perfect and patent this helm.

I'm not on drugs. Well I might be, I can't remember

Anyway, this is a must have for people planning to twink a gnome character in the 20-29 bracket. You can also use the rocket effect to climb hills such as the cliffs in the WSG graveyards. This is only available for gnomes, because every other in the 20-29 bracket is limited to 225, while gnomes can get Eng to 240 because of their racial trait which increase Eng by 15. Taught by any goblin engineering trainer.

    Materials:
    1 Goblin Construction Helmet
=Taught by any goblin engineering trainer
    =Mats for this:
    =8 Mithril Bar
    =1 Citrine
    =4 Elemental Fire

    4 Goblin Rocket Fuel
=An alchemy transmute: Recipe: Goblin Rocket Fuel
    =Mats for this:
    =1 Firebloom
    =1 Volatile Rum
    =1 Leaded Vial

    4 Mithril Bar
    1 Unstable Trigger
    =Mats for this:
    =1 Mithril Bar
    =1 Mageweave Cloth
    =1 Solid Blasting Powder
    ==Mats for this:
    ==2 Solid Stone

    u) SONIC BOOSTER

I included this because I'm told it's a very valuable tanking trinket for all classes. I do not actually have any tank classes but I'll take their word for it. Taught by any grand-master engineering trainer. From Wowhead:

    Facts:

    *Procs only on melee attacks.
*Procs on both atacks you do and attacks against you.
*If you equip 2 of them, they will share the hidden cooldown.
*Buff itself makes your character red for the duration.
*Proc chance is very high, about 50%.
*Cooldown is not displayed, but can easily be tracked with addon
    Materials:

    2 Froststeel Tube
    =Mats for this:
    =16 Cobalt Bar
    =2 Crystallized Water

    4 Overcharged Capacitor
    =Mats for this:
    =16 Cobalt Bar
    =4 Crystallized Earth

    2 Handful of Cobalt Bolts
    =Mats for this:
    =2 Cobalt Bar

It's a sonic booster, so here's sonic. Get it? Cos it's... Sonic, funny right? Haha... okay back to the guide

    v) NOISE MACHINE

This is a pretty cool trinket, and has quite a good proc rate. The actually proc is not much in terms of end-game PvP or PvE but it's good for the lower end content. Plus it has 63 spellpower on a trinket that's really easy to craft, very nice and easy for someone who just hit 80. Quite nice for running low level instances at a high level too.

    2 Froststeel Tube
    =Mats for this:
    =16 Cobalt Bar
    =2 Crystallized Water

    2 Overcharged Capacitor
    =Mats for this:
    =8 Cobalt Bar
    =2 Crystallized Earth

    8 Handful of Cobalt Bolts
    =Mats for this:
    =6 Cobalt Bar

Also, it's a ghetto blaster. That is all.

    w) WORLD ENLARGER

Gnomes are tiny right? So in order to make them seem less tiny they decide to make the world BIGGER. Wait... what? Well the World Enlarger does what it says, but only you can see it, we'll just call it a mechanically induced schizophrenic state. Taught by Schematic: World Enlarger which drops off Weapon Techinicians in Blackrock Depths.

    Materials:

    1 Mithril Casing
    =Mats for this:
    =3 Mithril Bar

    2 Thorium Widget
    =Mats for this:
    =6 Thorium Bar
    =2 Runecloth

    1 Gold Power Core
    =Mats for this:
    =1 Gold Bar

    1 Unstable Trigger
    =Mats for this:
    =1 Mithril Bar
    =1 Mageweave Cloth
    =1 Solid Blasting Powder
    ==Mats for this:
    ==2 Solid Stone

    1 Citrine

A pic of the world enlarger in combination with the shrink ray

    x) GNOMISH HARM-PREVENTION BELT

Quite similar to the nigh-invulnerability belt. Also quite useful when leveling and you are facing a tough mob. WARNING: Force Field may overload when struck temporarily removing the wearer from this dimension. = You get Banished for 20 seconds. Taught by any gnomish engineering trainer.

    Materials:

    1 Dusky Belt
    =Made by Leatherworking
    =Mats for this:
    =10 Heavy Leather
    =2 Bolt of Silk Cloth
    =2 Black Dye
    =1 Iron Buckle
    ==Mats for this:
    ==1 Iron Bar

    4 Mithril Bar
    2 Truesilver Bar

    1 Unstable Trigger
    =Mats for this:
    =1 Mithril Bar
    =1 Mageweave Cloth
    =1 Solid Blasting Powder
    ==Mats for this:
    ==2 Solid Stone

    2 Aquamarine

    z) CHOPPER

Yes, I skipped "Y". Y is secret, and you will never know what it is. It has nothing to do with me accidentally skipping a letter and being too lazy to edit all my parts.

This is single-handedly the most expensive thing an engineer can make. Taught by Schematic: Mekgineer's Chopper sold by Logistics Officer Brighton in Howling Fjord and Logistics Officer Silverstone in Borean Tundra for 400 gold

Non-engineers can also use this chopper (lame...) however the parts can only be bought by an engineer. Upon learning the bike you will get: Get to da choppa!. While on this mount you cannot be netted.

    Materials for this BEAST:

    12 Titansteel Bar
    =Mats for this:
    =36 Titanium Bar
    =12 Eternal Fire
    =12 Eternal Earth
    =12 Eternal Shadow

    40 Handful of Cobalt Bolts
    =Mats for this:
    =40 Cobalt Bar

    2 Arctic Fur
12,500g (from Roxi Ramrocket in Storm Peaks :
    1 Salvaged Iron Golem Parts - 3000g
    8 Goblin Machined Pistons - 8000g
    1 Elementium-Plated Exhaust Pipe - 1500 (Limited Supply)

    FIFTH - Ammunition

    a) SHATTER ROUNDS

The Epic ammunition for Goblin Engineers. Taught by Plans: Shatter Rounds sold by Alchemist Finklestein in Icecrown Citadel. Requires honored with the Ashen Verdict (I won't cover how to get this there's 10000 guides out there already).

    Sold for 1 Primordial Saronite

    Materials:

    2 Crystallized Earth

    b) ICEBLADE ARROW

The epic ammunition for gnomish engineers. Taught by Plans: Iceblade Arrow sold by Alchemist Finklestein in Icecrown Citadel. Requires honored with the Ashen Verdict

    Materials:

    2 Crystallized Shadow

    c) SARONITE RAZORHEADS

These are basically your default ammunition, for non end-game content and just miscellaneous work.

    Materials:

    2 Saronite Bar

    SIXTH - Final Notes

    So yea:

    tl;dr

    Engineering is cool stuff

As you can see when I set out to prove somebody wrong, I REALLY prove them wrong. ^^ Will be releasing an engineering pets guide sometime shortly so keep an eye out.

Engineers make the coolest things but don't make much money. Alchemy is where its at. I've made 4k gold in 1 day without trying with it.

Are you sure you want to do that? There are quite a few Alchemy Leveling Guides out there and I've already made a Specialization Guide. Just don't want your efforts to be wasted ^^
