10 extra days on new accounts

Im not sure if this was posted before, tried searching and found nothing. Could be common sense but first time i ever noticed.

My mate basicly wanted to start playing the game so i gathered the expansions etc and so on to get this baby going. Thing is he had a trial account which means it has 10 days before it expires, so i merged the expansions and the original game with it and viola. It had 30 days from Vanilla wow applied to the 10 days = 40 days without trial restrictions

So in steps

Make trial account right before you merge the original game/expansions with it
Merge them
???

I did this with my account last week, it's intended and stuff because 10 day trial = gametime, but good tip for people buying new accs, make a trial first for 10 extra days!

You should weigh that up with the benefits of Recruit-a-Friend, 300% xp on mobs and quests, can potentially save you moreleveling time than the 10 days!

You can try World of Warcraft 10 days for free, then if you upgrade to Vanilla account the same day, you will keep the 10 trial days. Intended to be like this.

actually, you can get more then 40 days free, if you use the time from the tbc and wotlk trial in your account management, before you add the expansion cdkeys
