Description: This is a MrTrackIt clone. For those of you n00bs that perhaps don't know what MrTrackIt is, I'll give a brief introduction. It is an in-game tracking hack that was written by Nesox. As I got into the habit of using hacks, MrTrackIt became a staple for me. I needed it every second that I was playing because I rolled Mining/Herbalism constantly for maximum easy gold income. For those that don't know what I mean when I label it as an in-game tracking hack, it basically does what any "Find/Track X" (find minerals, find herbs, track humanoids, etc.) in the game does for you.

Why Make a Clone? I had originally written the hack for myself because I thought it would be a great "next step" to take in writing hacks. The only previous related work I had done in regards to that was the XYZ hack (in AutoIt LOL) that is currently available in the Bots and Programs section. I thought that I may as well just write a user interface for it and allow people to use what I had worked on if they would like to.

THIS ONLY WORKS ON THE CURRENT VERSION (3.2.2a). WINDOWS VISTA AND HIGHER USERS MAY NEED TO RIGHT CLICK THE EXECUTABLE AND USE THE "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" OPTION.

Usage Notes: The minimum requirement is for people to be running Windows ME/2000 or higher. This hack is extremely self-explanatory once you run it and see for yourself. Make sure you run WoW first obviously. When changing zones and going into instances (bg's, pve instances, etc.) your in-game tracking is reset to what you have selected in-game. Simply redo your tracking settings in the hack and you'll be set.

LOL so much for that plan I outlined in my XYZ thread huh? lolololol yeah...okay, didn't do either of what I had intended. Luckily writing this hack has given me very significant experience with several aspects that will definitely help me write future hacks. Currently planning to port the XYZ hack to C++ and implement some code that will use that built-in class that I noted in the XYZ thread. Stay tuned =).

Indeed...which is why if you took a few seconds to actually read through the post you would have seen that I was completely upfront and honest about the fact that this is a CLONE of MrTrackIt. If you don't understand that or if it isn't obvious to you by now...I can't help you any further. That aside, I built this entire application from scratch. From the procedures to access memory (everything that NomadMemory.au3 had code to let people do in AutoIt) all the way to explicitly defining my window message handling procedures with the Win32 API. Anyways, I won't be repeating this anymore since it should be clear. As you can also see in the OP I stated exactly why I would release something that looks exactly the same as another thing.
