Another Trick or Treat Bot

Ok After the feedback from a few members, the bot has been totally rebuilt!

It now fully utalises the macro system and no long relies on co-ords, the only issue I couldn't overcome was an issue with sending commands to wow when it was in the background (text was being messed up badly); so it still gets focus until I can overcome it.

It should now be much simpler to setup and more accurate at what it does.

What it does

The bot loads wow, logs in your current selected character and talks to your selected innkeeper, recieves your trick or treat, opens it and logs out.

Then an hour later will repeat the process until you tell it to stop!

Yeah, took a couple days but I'm happy with the progress, too bad I couldn't figure out all of the issues with it closing

You get a trick or treat from any innkeeper, which gives you an hour long debuff so you can't get another until it's gone

I just tested it out and it didn't work very well for me. :/ It takes a while for it to login and when it does it clicks the innkeeper, doesn't click the trick or treat button but thinks it did, opens up my skill menu for some reasone then opens the bags and then logs out... I'm confused.

I left the pauses there to compensate for a good amount of server lag, the whole process takes between 40-50seconds which if you're in bed/work or whatever is hardly a big loss of time to ensure it works

As for the wrong operations being performed I can only imagine you did something wrong for the setup or you have a different set of keybinds to default

It right clicks the innkeeper
left clicks the button
sends "b" to wow to open the bags and then right clicks the slot you set it to click

please make some changes in your code .. and start working with macros ...

for example

start wow

login

hit enter
/target inkeeper
hit enter

push interact key

push button for macro (/script SelectGossipOption(index)) / or get auto accept quest addon (Turn In - Addons - Curse)


and logoff ...

thats it .. when you do it .. do it right

There's nothing suspicious about the program, there's a reason I posted the source code along with it, if you don't trust the exe, compile your own

As for the suggestions about using macros, I may look into it, but I've never had a problem with the app missing or failing so never saw a need for it

You can remove all your mouse/coords related code and replace it with something like this. It sets the '#' button as the INTERACTTARGET keybinding so you can talk to the Innkeeper regardless of the number of players crowding around it. The /target will obviously only work if the Innkeeper has "Innkeeper" in their name. And since the Treat Bag is a usable item you can open it with "/use Treat Bag" assuming you have Auto-Loot enabled.
