    [Question] noob scammer question

So I've been looking into scamming gold to sell to sites. Unfortunately I haven't gotten any accounts yet but that's not the issue. I planned to just get on, make a sale with a site, get paid. It's a win-win for both the person scammed cause they get their stuff back and I get paid.

Now, my question is, I know when they look into hacked cases they check IP logs etc. So is it necessary that when I do finally get to pull this off I run WOW or account management or whatever through a proxy? Does Blizzard ban by IP at all?
