But to make it mine, I need the last name of this guy. Is there a way using the limited information of just his login and email, and knowing his first name, to look up the rest of the needed information?

He just recalled the account, but I'd like to know for the future.

If you try to recall it, it will get locked. Although if you want a few weeks for the recall it might not get locked. Anyways search the forums for ideas to find last name, I've seen topics on it.

if you remember what his characters were you could google them and hopefully find an application to some guild, ussualy they make you put your name in there.

I read a thread i forget it now but make a fake paypal e-mail but my twist is this send a fake e-mail as Noreply@blizzard or w.e and say We are doing something new after account updates and recalls to make sure your the True owner please fill in the required fields First Name Last Name and Original e-mail or w.e it is you need then they reply i have used it and it has worked i believe in the scam section theres a thing called mmomailer or sum thing as well that can help you get the job done

Yeah I tried all of the above ideas, to no avail. The server he and I are on is dead, so he never would have applied to any guilds there (I mean DEAD).
