Naming Bug, Server Error, cannot play on account

Does anyone know how to fix this or has had a similar issue, I had a 27 botted up, logged in on my phone caught the first pokemon named my character then hit enter and it says server error. When i log into my bot it says the name went through and I have the name I was going for, but i am stuck in game on choosing my name and everytime I type anything it just says server error.

If anyone has any ideas I am open but this is lame :/

Try botting the account again maybe the actions will change it.

Sorry for being ignorant but did you try logging out/back in?

Haha ya its all good, i logged out and back in and on multiple devices, maybe i will try android see if that fixes it.

I unfortunately never found a fix i thought waiting it out would work but that does not seem to be the case : /

I'M HAVING THE EXACT SAME ERROR.

I cannot login. I was flagged to change my nickname.
I get "Hi Trainer! What should I call you, again?" screen.

no matter what I put in, I get "Server Error" screen.

can't play, it sucks.
