I'm 100% certain that no crack will come out next week. Niantic has already pushed out 49 and will push out another update for gen 2. Maps are still working so there is less rush to crack. Once Gen two drops we will see many more Devs working on a crack. In good news though I doubt Niantic can beef up encryption much more without slowing PG to a crawl. I suspect bots to work for a good while if Devs keep dehashing.

What a weird timing to be releasing gen2. The game is not even a year old, they should wait for spring/summer that would create another hype wave. Introduce more microtransaction slighty before the release and watch the money flow in. I'm already freezing my fingers off trying to play these days, and that's with gloves on...

there are 8 gens, so why wait, bring out Gen 2 at christmas, gen 3 at Paque and Gen 4 in the summer
Niantic will Cash in as long as plenty of people still play the game, if they wait till summer for Gen 2, another 3/5 (or more) of the players has dropped the game.
So i would cash as much as possible, a game doesn't last forever, who knows by next summer there's another hyped game that lets us forget about Pokemon GO!

Some People still play ingress, but most of the time i see white portals everywhere, once and awhile i see one taken, same will happen to Pokemon GO! in the end

Because of server load. If anyone has played the game they will tell you that PG has become super sluggish because of encryption. If they release in the summer months it would be 100% server crash. Better off adding in new Mons at a slow time to preserve there servers. This also highlights how crazy Niantic is with bots because there own encryption is producing more load than the bots/maps did to begin with.
