More places to rep someone

Shared Lounge, Trading Section, General Chat,Wow Scams help, age of conan section, suggestions, graphics section
These are the places I have found that I cannot rep someone at. It gets tiring looking through every post they have and seeing that I cannot actually give them reputation.

This is for Corsix who made an awesome machinima who I think deserved rep for it because it was cool to share with the community, (the Blind machinima was also cool even though it's not his.)

All in all, I can understand you do not want reputation to be gained for certain sections but trading section I don't quite understand. People who are legitimate should be able to rep the other person for being a non-scammer and posting on their thread saying they're legit and won't scam you.

Suggestions to my suggestion can be made if need be.

I can see giveaways, and I can see genral chat and suggestions

but frankly people could post valuable things in many other sections that are non-reppable

100% agreed, simply because many people post useful information in the areas where you're not allowed to supplement their reputation. I can list off a number of times where i've found useful threads in the general lounge, and even the graphics forum.

In my opinion, maybe keep the Suggestion, General, and Graphics forums un-reppable, but trading forums & scam help forums should allow reputation, IMO.
Although, it would be hard to police 'Paying with Rep' in the trading sections, so this creates another dillema.

I just think it sucks you can't rep in the shared lounge, all because of one guy who abused it and could easily have been given -rep.

I agree Shared lounge is ridiculous, the amount of good threads in there is quite large, in fact all the last threads I've wanted to rep have been in there. I really think +Rep should be returned to that forum, above all others.

Trading I can understand cos you don't want people trading rep.

I agree 250% with all that has been said in this thread. Rep should be allowed to be given at more areas of the forum.

not being changed now.. Things like this are changed because our members abused it, its not only the one guy that abused it, but also all the other guys that repped him.
