Thank you for posting this, Aphel. I've seen a ton of High Quality posts that simply get ignored, and it hurts you a little inside. :P
Whether you're a new member or an old pro, the Reputation system on OwnedCore is the best way to let other forum users know that you found their posts or topic helpful, useful, or interesting. Generally speaking, a user can decide to give Rep for just about anything they want, but as Reputation points are limited and capped, it is a good practice to spend them on useful posts.
Why is Rep Important?
Reputation rewards contributors to the site by allowing them to rise in rank and access the hidden forums and other features available only to forumgoers of a higher echelon. These ranks carry with them a great level of respect, and this can also help with proving trustworthiness during transactions or trades on OwnedCore's Trading Market.
While there are many contributors on the site, not all of them get the Reputation or rank they deserve. You can help by spreading out your Rep points evenly each day. Browse the forums and don't forget to give Reputation to any posts you've found useful or intriguing.
How do I "Rep" Other Users?
The process is simple. Look for the star icon at the bottom of the post, then select "Positive Reputation" once you are taken to the menu. If applicable, type in the number of Reputation points you'd like to give for the post, then click to confirm. After this, the user will be one step closer to Legendary, Elite, or Contributor on the forums.
Alternatively, users can gain access to the Shared and Donator forums by becoming an OwnedCore Donator rank. For more information on becoming a Donator, see this link.
Enjoy your stay, and don't forget to Rep users that have been helpful to you!

Current best WoW hack <|> Best LevelBot for WoW
No one ask to be born. But everyone thanks god I was.
+rep from me Aphel, because I find your post very helpful for the community.
Noobs, n00bs, newbs, call them what you will, they taste great on rye with mayonnaise.

+rep to myself, cheers Aphel.
The biggest issue for me is that the same persons keep helping me out, so I have to spread my reputation (and I rarely do that to be quite honest).
Furthermore, since I've quit WoW it's hard for me to find any rep-able threads/posts.
I'm sure many other legendaries/elites/contributors can find themselves in my situation.
~2d wus here~
I don't play wow either dombo, and to be frank.. I don't frequent OwnedCore as much as I used to. I still love the community, but I don't go through all the sub forums to find a reputable thread/post. I focus more on the battlefield/diablo 3 forum these days, and that's basically it for the most part.

You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later.![]()
Indeed... +rep for the OP... if only every member would read this post and take it to heart. I can't count the number of times I see "that was awesome/helpful, thank you!" as a response to one of my posts, only to see no reputation come of it...
Sorry, im not sure if this is the proper post to ask it but since i didnīt see any other fitting better here it goes:
Rep points are placed on posts which we find useful BUT since in this site there are several trades, is there any trading feedback system that i am missing?. For example i just closed a trade and i dont know how to rate the other "part", in this case positive or may be sadly in the future reporting a scammer.
Basically, if you want to show the other trader in a positive light (because the trade went smooth), just post a good comment in his trading thread. For example, wow, this guy was really good, we traded quickly and smoothly, I definitely recommend going to him.
Now, if you get scammed or whatever, there's a thread for that. Somewhere in the trading forums, I believe it's called [WTS] banned trader list or something along those lines.

Trade ratings are being added soon.
everyone would if they could have some of them sweet sweet rep
Why do we have this error ?
Like you said (OP), repping someone is a good thing if he helped you. Why would you limit the number of rep given then ?
You can always come back 24 hours later to rep the guy but i have lots of memory leaks and i tend to forget to rep someone 24 hours after if i get this error ..
Also the spread rep, why ?
In the exploration forums, we haven't got many explorers. Their explorations are great and should be rewarded with rep but most of the times we can't because we must spread...
I don't want to be forced to go to other sections just to spread rep.. I mean, i do visit every section, but someone that only likes explorations won't be able to spread rep fast enough to reward every great thread.
To me that's a problem. And we can see the same thing on the exploit section (two great posts from leniox, can only reward one), swtor exploration and many other sections..
I don't care about rep but i care about repping others when they deserve it and most of the time i can't because of these two errors![]()
