Anyone playing NMS?
Hello
Is anyone else from this sub-forum playing the game No Man's Sky?
I am having fun at the moment playing it and it reminds me of when I used to play WoW and all I used to do was run around the game trying to get to new places and explore the map.
You should check it out if you don't already know about it, I think you will like it.
Regards,
C

Good fun, if a little choppy at times on the PC, when you get to a particularly lush planet. Gorgeous visuals in general though, despite the sometimes poor texture quality.

Interesting I did not no it would be choppy on PC. I am playing on a console PS4 and the game crashes sometimes. Still loads of fun, you just need to save frequently. I agree with your opinion on the visuals!

Lorekeeper of Exploration
Why is this on the exploration section of WoW ?
But I do love it, not for the gameplay, but for the feeling you get when leaving a planet, entering space, and landing smoothly on another planet.

I have the game, tried to get a refund at 4hours, didn't work. So now I just wander around aimlessly attempting to find bigger ships and something to do.
I find it quite boring sometimes, so I have to be in the right mindset to play it. If they patch in the ship-battles and fleet battles like was shown (even in the videos on the steam store it shows this stuff), then I might try to play it a little more, but for now it's just a cut down version of Minecraft without all the crafting.
Ya it has some crafting stuff, but come on... it's not _great_ so far. Would prefer to have more space combat to break up the monotony of planet to planet travel. The current hostile ships incoming messages and encounters are a freakin joke.
