If there is no market for it, they are not there. If there is money to be made then they will appear. The fact you can't find any for said game, tells me there is no money to be made vs. time/effort to sell it.

At that point, yes, just play the game yourself, make your own money. If you find an exploit, you could try to sell gold yourself in-game but... yea.
